Description
Peineパイロットラインは、Reicofilメルトブローンスピンビームラインで構成される。このラインは、最初は、35 MFRスパンボンドグレードのポリプロピレン(PP)樹脂で実行され、押出機の温度を275〜280℃に増加させながら、0.9部のCR76対99.1部のPPペレットの比率でIRGATEC(登録商標)CR76を押出機に量り入れる。PPメルトブローンのウェブが32GSMの坪量を達成するように、押出機の出力でパイロットラインの速度を調節する。
実施例2では、実施例1で調製したメルトブローンウェブを使用して、SMS積層体を作製する。パイロットラインは、PPスパンボンドのウェブ(8GSMの)を紡糸し、次いで、実施例1のメルトブローン繊維をスパンボンド層上に紡糸してインラインSMを作製し、続いて前に調製したスパンボンドウェブをSMウェブの上面に配置するステップでシミュレーションされなければならないインライン作製SMS積層体のスパンボンドビーム生産を1つのみ有する。得られたSMS構造物をカレンダー処理し、熱接着されたSMS積層体を製造する。本発明者は、スパンボンドPPの層がPP/PLAメルトブローンウェブの中間層から剥離しにくいという意外で予想外の改善を認める。理論に拘束されるわけではないが、本発明者は、この改善がSMS積層体の全層を一緒に接着することを改善及び促進するメルトブローン層中のPPとPLAとの均質混合物に起因すると考える。
この実施例では、ポリプロピレンスパンボンド層とPLAのメルトブローン層を含むSMSウェブが調製された。PLAは、NatureWorksから入手可能なメルトブローングレードのPLA Grade 6252Dである。実施例2と同様、メルトブローン層をスパンボンドポリプロピレン層上に堆積させ、続いて前に調製したスパンボンドポリプロピレン層を位置付けた。次に、積層体を、130℃の温度の一対のカレンダーロールに通すことによるカレンダー処理により、得られた積層体を熱接着した。本発明者は、得られたSMS積層体が乏しい積層強度を示し、スパンボンド層が容易にメルトブローン層から剥離することを認めた。高接着温度で、メルトブローン層中のPLAがスパンボンド層を通って移動したことが認められ、不織層の、カレンダーロールの表面への望ましくない接着をもたらした。
この実施例では、得られた再生ポリマーブレンドのメルトフローレートに対する、ビスブレーキング剤と、ポリプロピレン構成成分及びサステイナブルポリマー構成成分を含む前に紡糸したポリマー材料とのブレンドの効果が特徴付けられる。上述の約50%PLA及び50%PPの組成物を含む再利用ペレットを出発材料として使用した。
Claims (19)
- メルトブローンウェブを調製するためのプロセスであって、
ポリプロピレン構成成分及びサステイナブルポリマー構成成分を含む出発繊維を提供することであって、前記構成成分の各々が、前記繊維の異なる領域に配置され、
前記ポリプロピレン構成成分と前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分とを熱処理下でブレンドして溶融流を形成すること、
前記溶融流中の前記ポリプロピレンポリマー構成成分をビスブレーキングすること、
前記溶融流中の前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分を分解すること、
メルトブローン用ダイを通して前記溶融流を押出して、メルトブローン繊維流を形成することであって、前記メルトブローン繊維が、再生ポリプロピレン構成成分と前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分とのブレンドを含み、及び
前記メルトブローン繊維を回収表面上に回収して、密着したウェブを形成することを含む、前記プロセス。 - 前記ビスブレーキングのステップが、ビスブレーキング剤と前記溶融流をブレンドすることを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ビスブレーキング剤が、ヒドロキシルアミンエステル組成物またはチオ組成物を含む、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ビスブレーキング剤が、ヒドロキシルアミンエステルを含む、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ビスブレーキング剤の量が、前記プロピレン構成成分の総重量に基づき約0.5〜3重量%である、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ビスブレーキング剤の量が、前記プロピレン構成成分の総重量に基づき約0.75〜2.5重量%である、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分が、ポリ乳酸を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分中のサステイナブルポリマーの含有量が、90〜100重量%である、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分が、加水分解により分解される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分が、ビスブレーキングにより分解される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ビスブレーキング及び分解のステップが、実質的に同時に生じる、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記出発繊維が、複合スパンボンド単繊維を含み、前記ポリプロピレン構成成分が前記単繊維のシースとして配向され、前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分が前記単繊維のコアとして配向される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ポリプロピレン構成成分対前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分の比率が、約10重量%のポリプロピレン対90重量%のサステイナブルポリマー構成成分〜80重量%のポリプロピレン対20重量%のサステイナブルポリマー構成成分である、請求項12に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ポリプロピレン構成成分対前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分の比率が、約30重量%のポリプロピレン対70重量%のサステイナブルポリマー構成成分〜70重量%のポリプロピレン対30重量%のサステイナブルポリマー構成成分である、請求項12に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ビスブレーキングのステップの前に、前記ポリプロピレン構成成分と前記サステイナブルポリマー構成成分との前記ブレンドした溶融流が、前記ブレンドをペレットに押出すステップを受ける、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ペレットを乾燥させ、次に前記ペレットを溶融して溶融流を形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ペレットの水分含有量が、200ppm未満である、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
