Description
図4に本願発明の第1の実施形態のレゾルバ100が示されている。レゾルバ100は、アキシャル型レゾルバであり、モータ200のシャフト(回転軸)60の角度の情報を検出する。レゾルバ100は、ステータ30とロータ50を有する。ステータ30はレゾルバ100の図示しない筐体に固定されている。軸方向(シャフト60の延在方向)から見て、ステータ30は略円形の円盤形状を有している。ステータ30の中心には、シャフト60が回転可能な状態で貫通する開口が設けられている。
モータ200が回転すると、シャフト60に固定されたロータ50が回転する。ロータ50が回転すると、第1のステータ31,第2のステータ32の励磁コイルが生成する磁場が、面内異方性を有するロータ5の回転角度に応じて変調され、その影響が第1のステータ31,第2のステータ32の検出コイルに誘起される電圧に現れる。すなわち、第1のステータ31,第2のステータ32の検出コイルに誘起される電圧は、ロータ50の角度位置による変調を受ける。具体的には、S11,S12,S21,S22は、ロータ50の角度情報を含んだ周期信号であり、S11,S12,S21,S22の検出信号を処理することでロータ50の回転角度が得られる。
レゾルバ100は、ステータ30のバックヨークを備えておらず、ステータ30のロータ50と反対側(図4の上側)は、磁気的に露出している。言い換えると、ステータ30のロータ50と反対側(図4の上側)は、磁気的に見て遮蔽されていない。バックヨークを配置すると、励磁コイルが生成する磁場の磁束密度が高まり、検出コイルが検出する検出信号のレベル(電圧値)を高めることができる。しかしながら、より高い精度で角度検出を行う場合、バックヨーク自体が有する微妙な磁気特性の偏在(部分的な透磁率の違いや異方性)が検出精度に悪影響を与える。ここで、検出信号のレベルが低い問題は、低ノイズアンプでの増幅やRDコンバータの入力部の低雑音化といった工夫で対応できるので、角度検出精度を優先する場合、レゾルバ100のようなバックヨークを採用しない構成が有用となる。
図6には、本願発明の第2の実施形態のレゾルバ300が示されている。レゾルバ300は、図4のレゾルバ100において、円盤形状のロータ51の外径を円盤形状のステータ30の外径よりも大きくした場合の例である。この構造によれば、モータ200から漏洩し、ステータ30に到達する磁束をより効果的に遮断できる。
Claims (5)
- 軸方向の一方に外部磁界がある場所に配置されるレゾルバを用いた角度検出装置であって、
透磁率が全体として一軸異方性を有する磁性材料で構成され、シャフトに固定されて該シャフトと共に回転が可能な円盤状のロータと、
前記ロータに対向して配置され、励磁コイルと前記励磁コイルが生成する磁束を検出する検出コイルとを備えた円盤状のステータと
を備え、
前記ロータが、前記軸方向において、前記ステータと前記外部磁界との間に配置されており、
前記軸方向から見て、前記ロータの外径が前記ステータの外径よりも大きいことを特徴とする角度検出装置。 - 前記ロータの外縁が前記ステータの方向に屈曲または湾曲した延在部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角度検出装置。
- 軸に垂直な方向から見て、前記延在部が前記ステータの一部または全部と重なる位置にまで延在していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の角度検出装置。
- 前記外部磁界は、前記ロータを回転させるモータであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の角度検出装置。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の角度検出装置と、
前記励磁コイルに接続された交流電源と、
前記検出コイルに接続された同期検波回路と
を有することを特徴とする角度検出システム。
