フィルム厚を、0.2μm解像度を有するメカニカル厚み計を用いて測定した。
調合物1を押し出し、6マイクロメートルの厚さを有するフィルムを形成させた。DSCをフィルム1−3上で実施し、結果を、表2に示す。
この実施例は、調合物1から押し出されたフィルムの破壊強度とポリ(エステル−カーボネート)およびPEIから押し出されたフィルムの破壊強度を比較する。結果を、表6に示す。
実施例1のフィルムを、図1に示されるパターンを使用して巻回させて試験箔コンデンサとした。66のコンデンサ上での試験結果を表7に示す。全ての試験したコンデンサは試験に合格した。DFは、1kHzで<1%であった。

フタルイミジンコポリカーボネートと、
フタルイミジンコポリカーボネートではない第2のポリカーボネートと、
を含むフィルムであって、
前記第2のポリカーボネートは、ポリカーボネートホモポリマ、コポリカーボネート、またはカーボネート単位およびエステル単位を含むコポリマを含み、
170℃超のガラス転移温度、
1kHz、23℃および50%相対湿度で、少なくとも3.0の比誘電率、
1kHz、23℃および50%相対湿度で、1%またはそれ以下の誘電正接、ならびに
少なくとも800ボルト/マイクロメートルの破壊強度、
を有する、フィルム。 - 前記フタルイミジンカーボネート単位は、下記式の単位であり、
RaおよびRbはそれぞれ独立して、C1−3アルキル基であり、
pおよびqはそれぞれ独立して、0から4の整数であり、
R3はそれぞれ独立して、C1−6アルキル基であり、
jは、0から4であり、ならびに
R4は、水素、C1−6アルキルまたは任意で1から5つのC1−6アルキル基で置換されたフェニルであり、
場合によって、前記繰り返しフタルイミジンカーボネート単位は、下記式の単位であり、
- 前記フタルイミジンコポリカーボネートは、N−フェニルフェノールフタレイニルビスフェノール、2,2−ビス(4−ヒドロ)−ビスフェノールAコポリカーボネートである、請求項1または2に記載のフィルム。
- 前記フィルムは、架橋されたフタルイミジンコポリカーボネートを含み、前記フィルムは、架橋されていないフタルイミジンコポリカーボネートを含むフィルムに比べ、5から50%大きい破壊強度を示す、または、
前記フィルムは、分枝フタルイミジンコポリカーボネートを含み、前記フィルムは、非分枝フタルイミジンコポリカーボネートを含むフィルムに比べ、5から50%大きい破壊強度を示す、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。 - 前記第2のポリカーボネートは、BPAホモポリマである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 前記フィルムは、下記条件の少なくとも1つを満たす、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
前記フィルムは、1,500ppm未満の合計ハロゲン含有化合物および900ppm未満の任意のハロゲン含有化合物を含み、
前記フィルムは、0.1ppm未満の浸出性の低イオン性塩化物および硫酸塩を含み、
前記フィルムは、10ppm未満のAl、Ca、Cr、Fe、K、Mg、Na、Ni、Mn、Mo、Zn、およびTiの各々を含み、
前記フィルム中のAl、Ca、Cr、Fe、K、Mg、Na、Ni、Mn、Mo、Zn、およびTiの総量は、10ppm未満であり、
前記フィルム100cm2の面積中、20マイクロメートルを超える直径を有する、2より少ない炭化封入体を含み、ならびに
前記フィルムは、1,000ppm未満の、250ダルトン未満の分子量を有する化合物を含む - 前記フィルムは、前記フィルムの総重量に基づき、1から50重量パーセントの、シリコーンポリエーテルイミド、ポリエーテルイミドスルホン、ポリエステル、フタルイミジンコポリカーボネート以外のポリカーボネート、シリコーンポリカーボネート−ポリエステルコポリマおよび前記の少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせから選択されるポリマをさらに含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム。
- 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルムを含む物品。
- 前記フィルムの少なくとも一部上に堆積された導電性金属または金属合金の層をさらに含み、前記導電性金属または金属合金は、アルミニウム、亜鉛、銅、銀、金、ニッケル、チタン、クロム、バナジウム、白金、タンタル、ニオブ、黄銅、または前記の少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせを含み、
場合により、前記導電性金属の層は、1から3,000オングストロームまたは1から2,000オングストロームの厚さを有する、請求項8に記載の物品。 - 請求項8または9に記載の巻回物品または請求項8または9に記載の巻回物品の一部を含むコンデンサ。
- 請求項10に記載のコンデンサを含む電子装置。
- フタルイミジンコポリカーボネートおよび第2のポリカーボネートを含むフィルム形成組成物を押し出す工程を含む、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルムを生成する方法。
- 前記ポリカーボネートを架橋させるのに有効な波長および時間で、押出フィルムを照射する工程をさらに含み、架橋されたポリカーボネートを含む前記フィルムは、架橋されていないポリカーボネートを含む同じフィルムよりも5から50%大きい破壊強度の増加を示す、請求項12に記載の方法。
