Claims (4)
- 被験体に照射するX線源と、該被験体を通過したX線放射線を受け、該X線放射線の強度分布を表す電気信号を生成するX線検出器とを有するX線システムを使用して、前記被験体について得られるX線画像におけるアフターグローによるゴーストを低減させる方法であって、前記X線検出器が、該X線検出器に入射するX線放射線を受け、前記X線放射線を光学放射に変換するシンチレータを有し、前記方法は、前記X線源と前記X線検出器との間に被験体が存在しないとき、前記X線源にX線放射線ビームを生成させ、前記検出器に該X線放射線を受けさせ、前記検出器に入射する前記X線放射線により、前記検出器において生じる均一なゴーストを表す電気信号を生成させることにより、ゴースト除去スキャンを定期的に得るステップを有し、前記ゴースト除去スキャンに用いられる線量は、シンチレータトラップが実質的に満たされるような線量であり、それぞれの被験体についてのその後のスキャンを得るために使用される線量と実質的に同じオーダーの検出器線量である、方法。
- 前記ゴースト除去スキャンが少なくとも1日1回実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記X線システムがスイッチオンされるとき、自動的に前記ゴースト除去スキャンが実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ゴースト除去スキャンが、40mGyのX線放射線検出器線量で実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
