Description
本出願は、米国特許仮出願第61/579,550号および第61/579,562号(ともに2011年12月22日出願)の利益を主張する。上記出願の全開示内容は、参照により本明細書中で援用される。
本発明は、バイオマス材料の加工に有用な酵素の調製に関する。例えば、本発明は、セルラーゼ酵素または他の酵素型に関する。
誘導因子の使用による、微生物により1つ以上の酵素の産生を誘導する方法が、本明細書中で提供される。誘導因子は、その難分解性を低減するよう処理されたバイオマス(セルロースまたはリグノセルロース系)から作られる。処理方法は、バイオマスを、電子による衝撃、音波処理、酸化、熱分解、水蒸気爆発、化学的処理、機械的処理または凍結粉砕に付すことを包含し得る。本明細書中で開示されるように、このような方法で処理されたバイオマスは、培地(例えば、液体培地)中で微生物と組み合わされて、1つ以上の酵素を産生するよう微生物を誘導し得る。

Claims (18)
- リグノセルロース材料を電子線により処理する工程であって、前記電子線は0.8MeV〜1.8MeVのエネルギー準位を有し、前記処理は2〜50Mradの線量で行われる工程と、
前記処理されたリグノセルロース材料を30〜1400μmの粒子サイズに粉砕する工程と、
前記粉砕された材料とトリコデルマ・リーセイ(Trichoderma reesei)とを組み合わせて酵素複合体の産生を誘導する工程と、

前記トリコデルマ・リーセイ(Trichoderma reesei)により産生された1つ以上のセルラーゼと、

前記電子線が、0.8MeV〜1.8MeVのエネルギー準位を有する、組成物。 - 前記リグノセルロース材料が、30〜50μmの粒子サイズを有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記トリコデルマ・リーセイ菌株が、RUT‐C30である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上のセルラーゼが、難分解性を低減したリグノセルロース材料を糖化する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 難分解性を低減したリグノセルロース材料とトリコデルマ・リーセイ(Trichoderma reesei)‐材料の組合せとを、組み合わせる工程をさらに包含する、請求項1または15に記載の方法。
- 前記難分解性が低減したリグノセルロース材料を酵素複合体により糖化する工程をさらに包含する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記酵素複合体は、結晶セルロースまたは前記難分解性を低減したリグノセルロース材料のリグニン部分を分解するために相乗的に作用する、請求項17に記載の方法。
