Description
Claims (12)
- エアバッグガス導入部を有するエアバッグと、
ガス吐出端を有し、前記エアバッグガス導入部に挿入される円筒状のインフレータと、
前記インフレータから発生する高温ガスを遮蔽するために前記インフレータと前記エアバッグとの間に介在する熱遮蔽部材とを備え、
前記熱遮蔽部材が、前記インフレータの外周を囲んでフィットするように構成され、前記インフレータの前記ガス吐出端の外周の少なくとも半部を包囲するガス吐出端包囲部と、前記ガス吐出端包囲部から前記インフレータの前記後端部分に延びる延在部とを備え、
前記ガス吐出端包囲部および前記延在部が、前記インフレータの外径よりも小さい内径を有し、
前記熱遮蔽部材の前記後端部分には、前記インフレータの後端部分に形成された凹溝に挿入される係止部が形成され、
前記延在部は、当該延在部と一体で成形され、前記エアバッグガス導入部に挿入されて係止されるフック部を備えることを特徴とするエアバッグ装置。 - 前記フック部は、前記延在部の一部をコの字状又はC字状に溝を形成した残りの部分で成形されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記フック部は、前記エアバッグガス導入部に対する前記熱遮蔽部材の位置決めに使用可能であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記ガス吐出端包囲部が、円筒形状を有するとともに、前記ガス端包囲部の長手方向に前記ガス吐出端包囲部に形成されたスリットを有する、請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記係止部は、前記係止段が前記凹溝に係止されるよう前記係止段が前記インフレータの前記後端部分に形成された前記凹溝に挿入されるように前記延在部の端部分の内側に突出する前記係止段を備える、請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記延在部が、前記インフレータの円周方向の半円よりも狭い領域を覆うように構成される、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記ガス吐出端包囲部には、前記インフレータが前記ガス吐出端包囲部から抜けるのを防止するために、前記ガス吐出端包囲部の中心に向かって突出するストッパが前記ガス吐出端包囲部の前端部分に設けられる、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記熱遮蔽部材が、前記延在部の後端部分において前記延在部の両側に前記延在部の円周方向内側に突出する脚部を更に備える、請求項1乃至7の何れか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記脚部が、前記インフレータの長手方向中心線よりも下方に凸状に延びる、請求項8に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記熱遮蔽部材が、前記延在部の後端部分から前記熱遮蔽部材の中心に向けて屈曲させた段付き端部を更に備える、請求項1乃至9の何れか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記段付き端部が、前記インフレータの前記凹溝に係止されるか、または前記インフレータの後端面を支持するように前記インフレータの前記後端面に接触する、請求項10に記載のエアバッグ装置。
- 前記熱遮蔽部材が、熱耐性を有する金属材料で成形されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載のエアバッグ装置。
