Claims (15)
- ガイドエクステンションカテーテルであって、
基端開口部、先端開口部、およびそれらの間に延在する中心内腔を有する先端シースと、
前記先端シースの外径より小さい外径を有し、かつ、先端開口部を含む基端シャフトと、
前記基端シャフトに前記先端シースを固定する結合部材であって、前記先端シースに取り付けられた先端部分と前記基端シャフトの先端開口部内に配置された基端リボン部分とを含む結合部材と、
を具備するガイドエクステンションカテーテル。 - 前記結合部材が、前記先端部分に1つ以上の溝をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- 前記結合部材に1つ以上の穴が形成されている、請求項1または2に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- 前記穴が、前記結合部材の先端部分に形成されている、請求項3に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- 前記先端シースが補強部材を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- 前記基端シャフトが金属製チューブを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- 前記基端シャフトがポリマーを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- 前記結合部材の基端リボン部分が圧着結合を用いて前記基端シャフトに固定されている、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- 前記結合部材の基端リボン部分が、打抜き加工結合を用いて前記基端シャフトに固定されている、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のガイドエクステンションカテーテル。
- ガイドエクステンションカテーテルを製造する方法であって、
外径および中心内腔を有する先端シースを提供するステップと、
先端開口部と、前記先端シースの外径より小さい外径とを有する基端シャフトを提供するステップと、
基端リボン部分および先端部分を有する結合部材を提供するステップと、
前記先端シースに前記結合部材の先端部分を固定するステップと、
前記基端シャフトの先端開口部内に前記結合部材の基端リボン部分を挿入するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記結合部材を提供するステップが、シート状の材料を提供することと、前記シート状の材料をマンドレルの上に配置することとを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記シート状の材料を前記マンドレルの上に配置することが、プレス型圧延を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記マンドレルが1つ以上の円周方向溝を含む、請求項11または12に記載の方法。
- 前記結合部材の先端部分を前記先端シースに固定するステップが、ポリマーリフロープロセスを用いて、前記結合部材の先端部分を前記先端シースに固定することを含む、請求項10〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記結合部材の基端リボン部分を前記基端シャフトに固定するステップをさらに含み、前記結合部材の基端リボン部分を前記基端シャフトに固定することが、打抜き加工または圧着を含む、請求項10〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
