Claims (5)
- 自動車の高電圧トランジエントパルスから電子制御ユニット(ECU)を保護するための保護回路であって、
事前規定された破壊電圧を有する低出力のトランジエント電圧抑制(TVS)ダイオードであって、前記ECUへ直列接続されて、前記TVSダイオードの上流側から下流側の前記ECUへ印加される電圧をより安全な動作領域内に制限する、低出力のトランジエント電圧抑制(TVS)ダイオードを含み、
標準状態においては電流が、前記ECUへ直列接続されかつ前記TVSダイオードに並列接続されたトランジスタ内を流れ、自動車の高電圧トランジエントパルスが事前規定された閾電圧を超えたとき、前記トランジスタは遮断モードとなり、前記電流は前記TVSダイオード内を流れ、これにより、電圧出力がTVSダイオードの事前規定された破壊電圧だけ低下し、前記ECUは、TVSダイオードに対して電流制限インピーダンスとして機能し、これにより、その電力損失を低下させる、
保護回路。 - 比較的より小さなサイズの入力タンクコンデンサを含み、前記入力タンクコンデンサは、ECU停止/リセットを回避するために、前記トランジスタの事前規定された遮断閾電圧と前記TVSダイオードの事前規定された破壊電圧との間の入力電圧範囲の電力を前記保護回路へ供給する、請求項1に記載の保護回路。
- 前記トランジスタは、低破壊電圧FETまたは低破壊電圧BJTを含む、請求項1に記載の保護回路。
- 前記TVSダイオードは、低出力のTVSダイオードを含む、請求項1に記載の保護回路。
- 前記ECUは、TVSダイオードに対する直列なインピーダンスとして機能し、電流を制限することにより、前記TVSダイオード中の電力損失の低減を保証する、請求項1に記載の保護回路。
