Description
実施の形態1におけるワイヤレス充電システムについて、図1に示すブロック図を参照して説明する。この充電システムは、ワイヤレス電力伝送システムを構成する送電機1と受電機2を含む。送電機1は、送電コイルと共振コンデンサからなる送電共振回路3を備え、受電機2は、受電コイルと共振コンデンサからなる受電共振回路4を備え、両コイル間での電磁誘導または電磁共鳴を介して受電機2に電力を伝送するように構成される。

Claims (7)
- 受電コイルと共振コンデンサにより構成された受電共振回路を有する受電機と、
前記受電機の出力電力が供給される二次電池とを備え、
送電機の送電コイルと前記受電コイルの間の電磁誘導または電磁共鳴を介して前記受電共振回路に発生する交流電力を、整流回路により直流電力に変換して前記二次電池を充電するワイヤレス充電モジュールにおいて、
前記二次電池の残存容量を検出する容量検出回路と、前記容量検出回路の動作を制御する受電制御部とを備え、
前記受電制御部は、高精度で残存容量を検出する高精度測定モードと、前記高精度測定モードに比べて検出精度が低い低精度測定モードとで切換えて前記容量検出回路を動作させることが可能であり、
前記二次電池の充電時には前記高精度測定モードで、前記二次電池の放電時には前記低精度測定モードで前記容量検出回路を動作させることを特徴とするワイヤレス充電モジュール。 - 前記受電機は、前記充電時と前記放電時とを、前記整流回路が出力する受電電圧に基づいて判別する請求項1に記載のワイヤレス充電モジュール。
- 前記受電機は、前記低精度測定モードでは、容量検出の頻度を前記高精度測定モード時と比べて低減させる請求項1または2に記載のワイヤレス充電モジュール。
- 前記受電機は、充放電サイクルの毎回あるいは所定の回毎に測定し記録された充放電特性を所定の頻度で平均化して、電池特性の劣化を含めた劣化後充放電特性を演算し、
積算容量、電圧特性、負荷電流特性、1サイクル毎の充放電時間、充電サイクル回数(充電時間)のうちの少なくとも1つのパラメータを用い、前記劣化後充放電特性に基づいて残存容量の演算を行う請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のワイヤレス充電モジュール。 - 前記受電機は、予め測定された前記二次電池の初期充放電特性を記憶し、前記劣化後充放電特性と前記初期充放電特性を比較して差異を求め、利用時点での残存容量を補正する請求項4に記載のワイヤレス充電モジュール。
- 前記受電機は、検出された残存容量が、設定された限界残存容量未満に達したとき、前記二次電池を電源として接続されたセット機器システムに警告信号を送信する請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のワイヤレス充電モジュール。
- 送電コイルと共振コンデンサにより構成された送電共振回路を有する送電機と、
請求項1に記載のワイヤレス充電モジュールとを備えたワイヤレス充電システムであって、
前記受電機は、前記容量検出回路が検出した前記二次電池の残存容量の情報を二値化して、前記送電機側に逐次無接点でデータを転送する送信部を備え、
前記送電機は、前記転送されたデータに基づき残存容量の表示を行うか、または、前記転送されたデータを前記送電機が接続されたホストシステムに送信するように構成されたワイヤレス充電システム。
