Claims (8)
- エンジン(100)の駆動力を所定の減速比で減速して車両(1)の駆動輪(WR)に伝達する変速機(40)と、前記エンジン(100)と変速機(40)の間で駆動力を断接するクラッチ装置(108)と、前記駆動輪(WR)および他の車輪(WF)に制動力を生じさせるブレーキ装置(BF,BR)とを制御する制御装置(106)を有する鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置において、
前記車両(1)が、通常走行モードと該通常走行モードより低速側の減速比での走行を想定した微速モードとの間を切り替え可能に構成されており、
前記制御装置(106)は、
前記微速モードが選択されている場合に、前記車両(1)のピッチング方向の傾斜角度(θ)を検知し、該傾斜角度(θ)が所定値以上である場合には前記ブレーキ装置(BF,BR)で前記駆動輪(WR)および他の車輪(WF)の少なくとも一方に制動力(B)を生じさせると共に、
その後、前記微速モードでの走行操作が入力されると、前記クラッチ装置(108)の接続状態への切り替えを開始して、前記駆動輪(WR)に駆動力が伝達され始めた後に、前記制動力(B)を徐々に解除することを特徴とする鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。 - 前記微速モードにおける走行操作に応じて、前記エンジン(100)の駆動力で前記駆動輪(WR)を回転させて微速前進または微速後進が可能に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。
- 前記通常走行モードから微速モードに切り替えるための微速モード切り替えスイッチ(31)を具備することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。
- 前記クラッチ装置(108)は、クラッチ油圧の増大に伴って摩擦力が増大するノーマリオープンの油圧式であり、
前記ブレーキ装置(BF,BR)は、ブレーキキャリパ(63,69)にブレーキ油圧を供給してブレーキディスク(62,70)に摩擦力を生じさせる油圧式であり、
前記制御装置(106)は、
前記通常走行モードから微速モードに切り替えられたことを検知すると、前記ブレーキ装置(BF,BR)に第1所定値(B1)のクラッチ油圧を供給すると共に、
前記微速モードでの走行操作が入力されると、前記クラッチ装置(108)への油圧供給を開始して、該油圧に基づいてエンジン駆動力(E)を推測検知し、
前記エンジン駆動力(E)が所定値に達した場合に前記ブレーキ油圧の減少を開始することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。 - 前記変速機(40)は、前記クラッチ装置(108)の断接制御を自動的に実行すると共に、シフトアップおよびシフトダウンの変速を指示するシフト操作手段(33,34)を備え、
前記微速モードでの微速前進または微速後進は、前記シフト操作手段(33,34)の操作により実行されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。 - 前記通常走行モードの選択時には、前記車両(1)の操向ハンドル(5)に取り付けられるスロットルグリップの回動操作に応じて前記エンジン(100)の出力調整が行われ、
前記微速モードの選択時には、前記スロットルグリップの回動操作に応じた前記エンジン(100)の出力調整が無効と扱われることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。 - 前記エンジン(100)の出力を調整するスロットル装置(102)は、少なくとも前記スロットルグリップの回動角度情報に応じてスロットル弁をモータ(144)で駆動するスロットルバイワイヤ方式であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。
- 前記傾斜角度(θ)に応じて、前記制動力(B)の大きさおよび制動力を生じさせる車輪を変更することを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置。
