Claims (4)
- 光ファイバケーブルを介して光信号を送信または受信し、光信号と電気信号の変換を行う光通信モジュールが複数配置された基板を備え、
前記光通信モジュールを覆うシールドケースが、
前記光通信モジュールに前記光ファイバケーブルが装着される位置から遠ざかる方向に向かって低く傾斜する面を有し、
前記シールドケースの天面に、
前記光通信モジュールの配線基板上に実装された部品のうち、厚みが最も大きい部品の厚みに応じて定まる第1の高さを有する水平な面と、
前記光通信モジュールの配線基板上に実装された部品のうち、厚みが最も小さい部品の厚みに応じて定まる第2の高さを有する水平な面とが含まれ、
前記光通信モジュールの配線基板上に実装された部品のうち、厚みが最も大きい部品が、シリコンインターポーザとされる
光電気複合モジュール。 - 前記シールドケースの天面において、
前記第2の高さを有する水平な面が、前記光ファイバケーブルが延在する方向に2mm乃至15mmの長さで延在する
請求項1に記載の光電気複合モジュール。 - 前記第1の高さと前記第2の高さの差分が0.2mm以上とされる
請求項1に記載の光電気複合モジュール。 - 前記シールドケースが金属製の材料により構成される
