Description
Claims (9)
- 1人以上の観察者に複数のビューを提供するためのマルチビュー表示装置であって、
表示を生成するための表示ピクセルのアレイを有する画像形成装置、及び
前記画像形成装置に位置合わせされて配置される光学ビーム偏向装置であって、異なるピクセルからの光が、当該光学ビーム偏向装置によって、前記複数のビューのうちの異なるビューへと導かれる光学ビーム偏向装置、
を有し、
前記光学ビーム偏向装置は、
基板表面を有する固体材料で形成される基板、
光学的に透明な固体材料で形成され、第1屈折率を有し、少なくとも部分的に複数の曲面によって定められる光学ビーム偏向面を有する第1レイヤ、
前記基板表面と前記光学ビーム偏向面との間に閉じ込められ、前記第1屈折率と異なる第2屈折率を有する、気体材料及び/又は液体材料の第2レイヤ、を有し、
前記基板表面が、前記基板及び/又は前記第1レイヤから伸びる複数のスペーサによって前記偏向面から間隔を置いて配置され、前記スペーサは、前記基板表面及び前記光学ビーム偏向面のうちの他方の1つ以上の第1部分と点接触及び/又は線接触し、
前記スペーサが、スペーサ長さ方向におけるスペーサ長、及び、前記スペーサ長さ方向に垂直なスペーサ幅方向におけるスペーサ幅を有する細長いスペーサであり、前記スペーサ長さ方向及び前記スペーサ幅方向は前記基板の平面に平行な平面内に延在し、前記スペーサ長は前記スペーサ幅より大きく、各々のスペーサは、少なくとも2つの異なる曲面と点接触及び/又は線接触する、
マルチビュー表示装置。 - 前記基板及び/又は前記第1レイヤは、柔軟な材料で形成される、請求項1に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
- 前記第2レイヤが液体材料を有し、前記液体材料が、前記第2屈折率と異なる更なる屈折率を有し、前記更なる屈折率が、前記第1レイヤの第1屈折率と一致する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
- 前記曲面の前記第1部分の各々が、その曲面に対して最小の局所的な距離で前記基板表面から間隔を置いて配置され、前記スペーサは、前記曲面の第1サブセットに対して、前記第1サブセットの前記曲面の前記第1部分において線接触及び/又は点接触が発生するように、前記基板から伸びる、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
- 前記最小の局所的な距離が、前記基板表面と前記光学ビーム偏向面の曲面の第1部分との間の最小の間隔距離と同じである、請求項4に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
- 曲面の前記第1サブセットが、相互に同一な曲面を有する、請求項4又は請求項5に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
- 前記複数の曲面は、前記基板表面に平行な第1アレイ方向における規則的なアレイで配置される、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
- 前記曲面の各々は、円柱軸を有する半円柱状のレンズの表面であり、前記レンズの全ての円柱軸は平行であり、前記スペーサ長さ方向とのゼロではない角度を定める、請求項1に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
- 前記画像形成装置が黒いマトリクスを有し、前記スペーサが少なくとも部分的に前記黒いマトリクス上に配置される、請求項1から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載のマルチビュー表示装置。
