Description
(1) 導体を絶縁外被で覆った電線へ接続されたコネクタ端子の接続構造であって、
前記コネクタ端子は、
前記電線の端部を圧着する圧着バレル部と、
相手端子と導通される電気接続部と、
を備え、
前記電線の端部は、
導体を覆う前記絶縁外被の一端から離れた位置で前記導体の先端側の一部分を被覆する、前記絶縁外被の一部で形成された絶縁外被分離部と、
前記絶縁外被の前記一端と前記絶縁外被分離部との間の絶縁外被で覆われていない露出導体部分と、
を有し、
前記圧着バレル部が前記露出導体部分に接触して前記コネクタ端子と前記導体とが導通し、
前記露出導体部分の周囲が前記圧着バレル部で封鎖され、
前記露出導体部分の前後が、前記圧着バレル部で覆われた前記絶縁外被分離部の導体を被覆していない先端部分と、前記圧着バレル部で覆われた前記絶縁外被の端部とで封鎖される
こと。
(2) 導体を絶縁外被で覆った電線の端部を圧着するバレル部と、相手端子と導通される電気接続部とを備えたコネクタ端子を前記電線に接続する接続方法であって、
前記電線の端部近傍で前記絶縁外被を切断分離し、
分離した絶縁外被分離部を前記導体の先端側の一部分を被覆する位置までずらして前記絶縁外被分離部と前記絶縁外被の一端との間の前記導体を露出させ、
前記絶縁外被分離部、露出させた露出導体部分及び前記絶縁外被の端部に前記コネクタ端子のバレル部を圧着して、前記コネクタ端子と前記導体とを導通させ、
前記露出導体部分の周囲を圧着した前記バレル部で封鎖し、
前記露出導体部分の前後を、前記バレル部を圧着した前記絶縁外被分離部の導体を被覆していない先端部分と、前記バレル部を圧着した前記絶縁外被の端部とで封鎖する
こと。
まず、図5(a)に示すように、電線11の端部近傍の切断分離位置(図中破線部分)で外被13を切断分離する。そして、切断分離することにより、先端側で分離された外被分離部13aを、図5(b)に示すように、端部側へずらし、芯線12を露出させる。
図6に示すように、圧着機の下加締型41と上加締型42の間にコネクタ端子10のバレル部21を配置させ、前処理を施した電線11の端部をバレル部21に配置させる。

Claims (2)
- 導体を絶縁外被で覆った電線へ接続されたコネクタ端子の接続構造であって、
前記コネクタ端子は、
前記電線の端部を圧着する圧着バレル部と、
相手端子と導通される電気接続部と、
を備え、
前記電線の端部は、
導体を覆う前記絶縁外被の一端から離れた位置で前記導体の先端側の一部分を被覆する、前記絶縁外被の一部で形成された絶縁外被分離部と、
前記絶縁外被の前記一端と前記絶縁外被分離部との間の絶縁外被で覆われていない露出導体部分と、
を有し、
前記圧着バレル部が前記露出導体部分に接触して前記コネクタ端子と前記導体とが導通し、
前記露出導体部分の周囲が前記圧着バレル部で封鎖され、
前記露出導体部分の前後が、前記圧着バレル部で覆われた前記絶縁外被分離部の導体を被覆していない先端部分と、前記圧着バレル部で覆われた前記絶縁外被の端部とで封鎖される
ことを特徴とするコネクタ端子の接続構造。 - 導体を絶縁外被で覆った電線の端部を圧着するバレル部と、相手端子と導通される電気接続部とを備えたコネクタ端子を前記電線に接続する接続方法であって、
前記電線の端部近傍で前記絶縁外被を切断分離し、
分離した絶縁外被分離部を前記導体の先端側の一部分を被覆する位置までずらして前記絶縁外被分離部と前記絶縁外被の一端との間の前記導体を露出させ、
前記絶縁外被分離部、露出させた露出導体部分及び前記絶縁外被の端部に前記コネクタ端子のバレル部を圧着して、前記コネクタ端子と前記導体とを導通させ、
前記露出導体部分の周囲を圧着した前記バレル部で封鎖し、
前記露出導体部分の前後を、前記バレル部を圧着した前記絶縁外被分離部の導体を被覆していない先端部分と、前記バレル部を圧着した前記絶縁外被の端部とで封鎖する
ことを特徴とするコネクタ端子の接続方法。
