Description
本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置は、二輪車等の車両に配設されて任意にエンジンやミッションの駆動力を駆動輪側へ伝達し又は遮断するためのもので、図1に示すように、入力部材としてのギア1が形成されたクラッチハウジング2と、出力部材としてのシャフト3と連結されたクラッチ部材4と、該クラッチ部材4の同図中左端側に取り付けられたプレッシャ5と、クラッチハウジング2側に連結された駆動側クラッチ板6及びクラッチ部材4及びプレッシャ5側に連結された被動側クラッチ板7とから主に構成されている。

Claims (1)
- エンジンと連結された入力部材の回転と共に回転し複数の駆動側クラッチ板が形成されたクラッチハウジングと、
出力部材と連結されたクラッチ部材と、
前記駆動側クラッチ板と交互に形成された複数の被動側クラッチ板と、
前記クラッチ部材に対する近接又は離間に伴い前記駆動側クラッチ板と被動側クラッチ板とを圧接させ又は圧接力を解放させ得るプレッシャと、
前記出力部材に対して回転力を付与することが可能とされ、その回転力をクラッチ部材を介してエンジンに伝達させることにより、当該エンジンを始動可能とされたキックスタータ手段と、
を有し、前記駆動側クラッチ板と被動側クラッチ板との圧接又は圧接力の解放により、エンジンを介して前記入力部材に入力された回転力を前記出力部材に伝達し又は遮断し得る動力伝達装置において、
前記キックスタータ手段により前記出力部材に対して回転力が付与されたときに前記駆動側クラッチ板と被動側クラッチ板との圧接力を増加させるための逆駆動側圧接アシスト用カムと、
前記入力部材に入力された回転力が出力部材に伝達され得る状態となったときに前記駆動側クラッチ板と被動側クラッチ板との圧接力を増加させるための正駆動側圧接アシスト用カムと、
を具備し、前記逆駆動側圧接アシスト用カム及び正駆動側圧接アシスト用カムは、前記クラッチ部材及びプレッシャにそれぞれ形成された勾配面を対峙させて成るものとされ、且つ、前記勾配面は、前記クラッチ部材又はプレッシャの一方に形成された開口の両端縁部、及び前記クラッチ部材又はプレッシャの他方に形成されて前記開口に挿通可能な凸部の両端部のそれぞれに形成されるとともに、前記開口の一方の端縁部の勾配面と前記凸部の一方の端部の勾配面とが前記逆駆動側圧接アシスト用カムを構成し、前記開口の他方の端縁部の勾配面と前記凸部の他方の端部の勾配面とが前記正駆動側圧接アシスト用カムを構成することを特徴とする動力伝達装置。
