Claims (8)
- 原子炉からの放射性廃棄物を処理し、前記放射性廃棄物から特定の放射性同位体を分離
し、前記分離している特定の放射性同位体を安定化させるための方法であって、
放射性廃棄物質を、放射性同位体を含む液体廃棄物と固体廃棄物とに分離するステップ
と、
放射性同位体を含む前記液体廃棄物に、同位体特定媒体のカラムを通過させて、前記液
体廃棄物から特定の放射性同位体を捕捉するステップと、
前記捕捉した放射性同位体を更に処置するために安定化させるステップと、
を含み、
前記特定の放射性同位体が、少なくとも1つのテクネチウム同位体を含み、
前記同位体特定媒体が、セチルトリメチルアンモニウムにより改質されたヘルシェライ
トを含む方法。 - 前記捕捉した放射性同位体を安定化させるステップが、前記捕捉した放射性同位体をガ
ラス固化することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記捕捉した放射性同位体を、前記カラム内の前記同位体特定媒体と共にガラス固化す
るステップを更に含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 放射性同位体を含む液体廃棄物が、前記同位体特定媒体の複数のカラムを通過する、請
求項1に記載の方法。 - 原子炉からの放射性廃棄物を処理し、前記放射性廃棄物から特定の放射性同位体を分離
し、前記分離している特定の放射性同位体を安定化させるための方法であって、
放射性廃棄物質を、放射性同位体を含む液体廃棄物と固体廃棄物とに分離するステップ
と、
放射性同位体を含む前記液体廃棄物に、同位体特定媒体のカラムを通過させて、前記液
体廃棄物から特定の放射性同位体を捕捉するステップと、
前記捕捉した放射性同位体を更に処置するために安定化させるステップと、
を含み、
前記同位体特定媒体が、カルシウムイオンの少なくとも一部が、ストロンチウム、銀及
びスズからなる群から選択されるイオンにより置き換えられている改質型ヒドロキシアパ
タイトを含む方法。 - 前記捕捉した放射性同位体を安定化させるステップが、前記捕捉した放射性同位体をガ
ラス固化することを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記捕捉した放射性同位体を、前記カラム内の前記同位体特定媒体と共にガラス固化す
るステップを更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 放射性同位体を含む液体廃棄物が、前記同位体特定媒体の複数のカラムを通過する、請
求項5に記載の方法。
