Description
ところで、熱交換器においては、水の硬度の高い地区では経年使用によって内部にスケールが析出することがよく知られている。このスケールの析出により、熱交換器の伝熱効率が低下し、フィン温度が上昇して熱効率の低下に繋がる。さらにそのまま使用を続けると、スケールの析出付着が多くなり、最終的には伝熱管が割れて水漏れし、給湯器が使用できなくなる。そこで、特許文献1に開示のように、熱交換器に異常温度検出器を設けて、出湯停止後の後沸きにより、異常温度検出器が予め設定した規定温度以上を検出すると、スケールの析出により熱効率が低下して熱交換器の異常加熱が生じたと判断する発明が知られている。ここでは使用者に報知すると共に、再出湯時のバーナの最高燃焼量値を下げて修理まで使用可能としている。
また、マイクロバブル発生器をバイパス路へ簡単に組み込めるコンパクトな構成とすることができる。
図1は、給湯器の一例を示す概略図である。ここに示す給湯器1は、器具本体内に、給気ファン3を備えた燃焼室2を形成して、燃焼室2の内部に、燃料ガスと給気ファン3からの一次空気との混合ガスを燃焼させるバーナ4,4を備えると共に、バーナ4の燃焼によって加熱され、給水管6と出湯管7とを接続した熱交換器5を備えている。バーナ4へのガス管8には、上流側から、元電磁弁9及びガス比例弁10、切替電磁弁11,11がそれぞれ設けられて、各弁が制御手段としてのコントローラ12によって制御可能となっている。13はイグナイタ、14は点火電極、15はフレームロッドである。
まず、S1で給湯栓20を開いて器具内の水量が点火水量を超えると、水量センサ17でこれを検知したコントローラ12は、S2で点火制御を行う。これは、給気ファン3を回転させてプリパージを行い、元電磁弁9と切替電磁弁11及びガス比例弁10をそれぞれ開いてバーナ4にガスを供給すると共に、イグナイタ13を作動させるものである。次に、コントローラ12は、S3において、バーナ4の点火をフレームロッド15で確認した後、第2サーミスタ22で検出された出湯温度と、リモコン23で設定された設定温度との差に応じて、ガス比例弁10の開度を制御してガス量を連続的に変化させ、出湯温度を設定温度に一致させる出湯温制御を行う。
このとき、切替部30では、バルブ36の弁軸38は第1の位置にあってバイパス路35を閉塞しているため、水は本水路34を通り、マイクロバブルは発生しない。
なお、マイクロバブルによるスケール除去作用は、公知文献である「材料と環境」(社団法人腐食防食協会発行)vol.58(2009),No.3 pp.99-104の「給湯用銅管の潰食現象に及ぼす気泡挙動の影響」において確認されている。
その他、上記形態では、給水管と出湯管との間にバイパス管を接続した給湯器で説明しているが、バイパス管のない給湯器であっても本発明は適用可能である。
Claims (1)
- バーナと、前記バーナに加熱される熱交換器と、前記熱交換器に接続される給水管及び出湯管と、前記バーナの燃焼を制御する制御手段と、を含み、器具内の通水により、前記制御手段が前記バーナを燃焼させて前記熱交換器を通過する水を加熱して出湯させる一方、前記制御手段は、前記出湯管に設けた温度検出手段が出湯停止後に所定の後沸き温度に達したら、配管内にスケールが析出したと判断する給湯器であって、
前記給水管側に、本水路から分岐して前記本水路の一部をバイパスするバイパス路を形成すると共に、前記本水路と前記バイパス路との分岐部に、前記制御手段により制御され、流路を前記本水路と前記バイパス路との何れか一方へ選択的に切替可能な流路切替手段を設ける一方、
前記バイパス路に、水の流入によって旋回する旋回車を収容した撹拌部と、前記撹拌部と連通し、下流側へ行くに従って縮径するテーパ状流路の加圧部と、前記加圧部と連通し、下流側へ行くに従って拡径するテーパ状流路の減圧部とを備えて微細気泡を発生させるマイクロバブル発生器を設けて、
前記制御手段は、前記スケールが析出したと判断したら、前記流路切替手段によって前記流路を前記バイパス路へ切り替えて、微細気泡を発生させた水を前記器具内に通水させることを特徴とする給湯器。
