Description
The present invention relates to a water purification cartridge, a method for producing the same, and a water purifier, and more specifically, a water purification cartridge carrying a platinum nanocolloid having a strong antibacterial action and a small amount of elution as a water purification substrate, a method for producing the same, and a built-in water purification cartridge. Related to the water purifier.
In recent years, water purifiers have become widespread for purifying tap water and well water into drinking water at home. In general, a water purifier has a built-in water purification cartridge with an antibacterial action for purifying tap water and well water. Examples of the antibacterial action used in the water purification cartridge include activated carbon and metals, among which silver is widely used.
The antibacterial effect of silver has been known in the art, and has been used in various places of daily life as represented by silver tableware. The reason is that the antibacterial effect of silver is not due to toxins, but silver ions generated from silver bind to SH groups in bacterial enzymes, denature bacterial proteins, and suppress bacterial activities. There is in doing. And using this effect | action, silver is provided in the water purifier and the silver ion is eluted, and the tap water is antibacterial.
For example, in
Patent Document 2 listed below is a silver-impregnated activated carbon in which a silver compound is impregnated with activated carbon, and the attached silver compound is a silver compound mainly composed of silver carbonate, and the silver attachment amount is 0.03% by weight or more. An invention of a silver impregnated activated carbon having a content of 0.2% by weight or less, a method for producing the same, and a water purifier is disclosed. According to the invention of Patent Document 2 below, silver ions having antibacterial properties in a temperature range of 0 to 40 ° C. are obtained by using silver-impregnated activated carbon in which a silver compound mainly composed of silver carbonate is impregnated on the activated carbon surface as a water purification material. It is said that silver ions can be stably eluted even in a high temperature region (region where the water temperature is high) at 40 ° C to 80 ° C.
It is recognized that water purification using silver as described in
On the other hand, if antibacterial measures are not taken, there is a problem that secondary pollution occurs in which bacteria will propagate in the water staying in the water purifier, and the water quality after use becomes worse than water that is not used in the water purifier. Existing. Furthermore, secondary contamination is assumed even if a hollow fiber membrane or flat membrane is used in combination, and clogging of the hollow fiber membrane or flat membrane is promoted by an increase in the amount of bacteria due to reproduction, even if the outflow of various bacteria is stopped. There is also a new problem that the amount of processing cannot be secured. Therefore, the sterilizing metal used in the water purifier requires a material with a small amount of elution and high antibacterial activity.
Therefore, as a result of repeating various experiments, the inventor produced a water purification cartridge by supporting platinum nanocolloid, which is widely known as an antibacterial material having a higher antibacterial effect than silver and a small amount of elution, on a base material. As a result, the present invention has been completed.
That is, an object of the present invention is to provide a water purification cartridge using a platinum nanocolloid with a small amount of elution and a high antibacterial activity, a method for producing the same, and a water purifier incorporating the water purification cartridge.
In order to solve the above problems, the water purification cartridge according to the first aspect of the present invention is characterized in that platinum nanocolloid is supported on a water purification substrate.
The water purification cartridge of the second aspect is the water purification cartridge of the first aspect, wherein the water purification substrate is at least one of activated carbon, ceramics and nonwoven fabric.

In the water purifier of the fifth aspect, the flow path connected to the liquid inlet side of the water purification cartridge unit is provided with a pre-filter provided with a filter for removing dust in the liquid. It is characterized by.
The water purifier according to the sixth aspect is characterized in that the prefilter carries platinum nanocolloid.
In the water purifier according to the seventh aspect, the water purification cartridge is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and the liquid introduced from the liquid inlet side moves from the outer surface side of the hollow cylindrical water purification cartridge to the hollow inner surface side. Then, it is configured to flow out from the purified water discharge port.
Moreover, the manufacturing method of the water purification cartridge of an 8th aspect has the following processes (1) and (2), It is characterized by the above-mentioned.

Platinum nanocolloid is a substance known to exhibit a good antibacterial action even at a lower concentration than silver ions conventionally known as antibacterial agents. In the water purification cartridge according to the first aspect of the present invention, since the platinum nanocolloid is supported on the water purification substrate, an excellent antibacterial effect can be exhibited even when the concentration of platinum nanocolloid in the water purification substrate is low. .
