Description
Claims (9)
- 無線通信回路において信号レベルを制御する方法であって、
遅延広がりを有する無線チャネルを介して伝播される、所定の帯域幅を有する信号を受信し、
前記無線チャネルの前記遅延広がりを判定し、
前記受信信号の信号レベルを推定し、
前記無線通信回路の受信機部品の全ダイナミックレンジを使用する間、受信信号の信号レベルのクリッピングが防止されるように、前記受信信号の前記帯域幅及び前記無線チャネルの前記遅延広がりに基づいて利得制御回路により前記受信信号の信号レベルを調整し、
前記受信信号において隣接するチャネルからの干渉レベルを、前記受信信号が前記隣接するチャネルからの干渉を受ける場合に推定することを有し、
前記受信信号の前記信号レベルを調整することは、前記干渉レベルが閾値を超えた場合に前記干渉レベルに基づいて前記信号レベルを調整することと、前記干渉レベルが閾値以下である場合、前記受信信号の前記帯域幅及び前記無線チャネルの前記遅延広がりに基づいて前記信号レベルを調整することを含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記受信機部品は、増幅器とアナログ/デジタル変換器の何れかであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記受信信号の前記帯域幅及び前記無線チャネルの前記遅延広がりに基づいて利得制御回路により前記受信信号の前記信号レベルを調整することは、帯域幅の減少及び遅延広がりの減少に応答して前記受信機部品における信号のヘッドルームを増加するために前記信号レベルを減少することを含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記受信信号の前記帯域幅及び前記無線チャネルの前記遅延広がりに基づいて利得制御回路により前記受信信号の前記信号レベルを調整することは、帯域幅の増加及び遅延広がりの増加に応答して前記受信機部品における信号のヘッドルームを減少するために前記信号レベルを増加することを含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 所定の帯域幅を有する受信信号の信号レベルを制御する回路であって、
遅延広がりを有する無線チャネルの遅延広がりを判定し、前記受信信号の信号レベルを推定するためのプロセッサと、
前記回路の受信機部品の全ダイナミックレンジを使用する間、受信信号の信号レベルのクリッピングが防止されるように、前記受信信号の前記帯域幅及び前記無線チャネルの遅延広がりに基づいて前記受信信号の前記信号レベルを調整するように構成された利得制御回路と、
前記受信信号において隣接するチャネルからの干渉レベルを、前記受信信号が前記隣接するチャネルからの干渉を受ける場合に推定するように構成された干渉推定器とを備え、
前記利得制御回路は、前記干渉レベルが閾値を超えた場合に前記干渉レベルに基づいて前記信号レベルを調整するように、また、前記干渉レベルが閾値以下である場合、前記受信信号の前記帯域幅及び前記無線チャネルの前記遅延広がりに基づいて前記信号レベルを調整するように構成される、ことを特徴とする回路。 - 前記受信機部品は、増幅器とアナログ/デジタル変換器の何れかであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 前記利得制御回路は、前記受信信号の帯域幅の減少及び前記無線チャネルの遅延広がりの減少に応答して前記受信機部品の信号のヘッドルームを増加するために前記信号レベルを減少するように構成される、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 前記利得制御回路は、前記受信信号の帯域幅の増加及び前記無線チャネルの遅延広がりの増加に応答して前記受信機部品の信号のヘッドルームを減少するために前記信号レベルを増加するように構成される、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 請求項5乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の回路を備える無線通信受信機を備えるユーザ機器。
