Description
また、この発明によれば、制御方法は、電動車両の制御方法である。電動車両は、蓄電装置と、電動機と、動力伝達装置と、充電装置とを含む。蓄電装置は、走行用の電力を蓄える。電動機は、蓄電装置から電力を受けて動力を発生する。動力伝達装置は、電動機と駆動輪との間に設けられ、電動機と駆動輪との間の動力伝達および動力遮断を切替可能に構成される。電動機は、動力伝達装置の潤滑油によって冷却される。充電装置は、車両外部の電源によって蓄電装置を充電するためのものである。そして、制御方法は、充電装置を用いた蓄電装置の充電の実行時に潤滑油の温度が所定温度よりも低いか否かを判定するステップと、動力伝達装置が動力遮断状態であるか否かを判定するステップと、蓄電装置の充電実行時に潤滑油の温度が所定温度よりも低いと判定され、かつ、動力伝達装置が動力遮断状態であると判定されているとき、電動機を回転させることによって潤滑油を昇温する昇温制御を実行するステップとを含む。
図1は、この発明の実施の形態による電動車両の一例として示されるハイブリッド車両10の全体構成図である。図1を参照して、ハイブリッド車両10は、エンジン12と、差動部20と、自動変速部30と、差動歯車装置42と、駆動輪44とを備える。また、ハイブリッド車両10は、インバータ52と、蓄電装置54と、充電器56と、受電部58と、制御装置60とをさらに備える。なお、ハイブリッド車両10は、たとえばFR(フロントエンジン・リヤドライブ)方式によって構成されるが、他の駆動方式で構成されてもよい。
図3は、図1に示した差動部20および自動変速部30の構成を示した図である。なお、差動部20および自動変速部30は、その軸心に対して対称的に構成されているので、図3では、差動部20および自動変速部30の下側を省略して図示されている。
このハイブリッド車両10では、差動部20および自動変速部30において潤滑油が共用される。この潤滑油の温度が低下していると、潤滑油の粘度が高くなることにより、差動部20および自動変速部30において回転抵抗が増加する。これにより、差動部20および自動変速部30の動力伝達効率が低下し、ハイブリッド車両10の走行可能距離が短くなってしまう。
Claims (11)
- 走行用の電力を蓄える蓄電装置と、
前記蓄電装置から電力を受けて動力を発生する電動機と、
前記電動機と駆動輪との間に設けられ、前記電動機と前記駆動輪との間の動力伝達および動力遮断を切替可能に構成された動力伝達装置とを備え、
前記電動機は、前記動力伝達装置の潤滑油によって冷却され、さらに
車両外部の電源によって前記蓄電装置を充電するための充電装置と、
前記充電装置を用いた前記蓄電装置の充電の実行時に前記潤滑油の温度が所定温度よりも低い場合に、前記動力伝達装置が動力遮断状態であるとき、前記電動機を回転させることによって前記潤滑油を昇温する昇温制御を実行する制御装置とを備える電動車両。 - 前記潤滑油を循環させるための電動オイルポンプをさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記昇温制御の実行前に前記電動オイルポンプの作動を開始する、請求項1に記載の電動車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記蓄電装置の充電状態を示す状態量が所定値よりも大きい場合に、前記電源から供給される電力を用いて前記昇温制御を実行する、請求項1に記載の電動車両。
- 前記制御装置は、前記蓄電装置の充電状態を示す状態量が前記昇温制御の実行前に所定値よりも大きくなるように、前記充電装置を用いた前記蓄電装置の充電を実行する、請求項1に記載の電動車両。
- 前記制御装置は、前記潤滑油の温度に基づいて前記昇温制御の実行時間を推定し、その推定された実行時間に基づいて、前記充電装置を用いた前記蓄電装置の充電の実行時間を変更する、請求項4に記載の電動車両。
- 前記電動車両の利用者が設定可能なタイマーをさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記タイマーの設定時刻に基づいて前記電動車両の運転開始予定時刻を推定し、その推定された運転開始予定時刻の前に前記昇温制御を実行する、請求項1に記載の電動車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記充電装置を用いた前記蓄電装置の充電の終了予定時刻の前に前記昇温制御を実行する、請求項1に記載の電動車両。
- 前記動力伝達装置の潤滑油によって冷却されるもう1つの電動機と、
前記電動機に連結される第1の回転要素、前記もう1つの電動機に連結される第2の回転要素、および第3の回転要素を含む差動装置とをさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記昇温制御の実行時、前記もう1つの電動機をさらに回転させる、請求項1に記載の電動車両。 - 前記昇温制御の実行時に前記第3の回転要素の回転を抑止するための回転抑止装置をさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記昇温制御の実行時、前記電動機が発生するトルクと前記もう1つの電動機が発生するトルクとが前記第3の回転要素を支点としてバランスするように前記電動機および前記もう1つの電動機を回転させる、請求項8に記載の電動車両。 - 前記動力伝達装置は、変速機によって構成される、請求項1に記載の電動車両。
- 電動車両の制御方法であって、
前記電動車両は、
走行用の電力を蓄える蓄電装置と、
前記蓄電装置から電力を受けて動力を発生する電動機と、
前記電動機と駆動輪との間に設けられ、前記電動機と前記駆動輪との間の動力伝達および動力遮断を切替可能に構成された動力伝達装置とを含み、
前記電動機は、前記動力伝達装置の潤滑油によって冷却され、さらに
車両外部の電源によって前記蓄電装置を充電するための充電装置を含み、
前記制御方法は、
前記充電装置を用いた前記蓄電装置の充電の実行時に前記潤滑油の温度が所定温度よりも低いか否かを判定するステップと、
前記動力伝達装置が動力遮断状態であるか否かを判定するステップと、
前記蓄電装置の充電実行時に前記潤滑油の温度が前記所定温度よりも低いと判定され、かつ、前記動力伝達装置が動力遮断状態であると判定されているとき、前記電動機を回転させることによって前記潤滑油を昇温する昇温制御を実行するステップとを含む、電動車両の制御方法。
