Description
本願は、「ONE−PIECE SEAT STRUCTURES AND PROCESSES USING COLD FORMING TO CREATE SEAT STRUCTURES」と題され、Zekavica等の名の下に2008年10月16日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第61/106,045号、及び「ONE−PIECE SEAT STRUCTURES AND METHOD OF FORMING」と題され、Zekavica等の名の下に2009年7月27日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第61/228,836号の利益及び優先権を主張する。これらは参照により本明細書に援用される。
Claims (10)
- 車両座席アセンブリに使用される一部品座席構造であって、
上部部材と、2つの側部部材と、2つの端部分及び中央部分を含む下部部材とを有するテーラードブランクを備え、
前記テーラードブランクの少なくとも第1の部分が前記テーラードブランクの第2の部分とは異なる一組の特徴を有し、
冷間成形工程を用いて前記テーラードブランクから前記一部品座席構造が形成され、
前記特徴は、形状、大きさ、質量、強度、材料型、厚み、機能、利便性及び位置の少なくとも1つを含み、前記側部部材の厚みは前記上部部材の厚みよりも大きく、且つ前記2つの端部分の厚みは前記側部部材の厚みよりも大きく、前記中央部分の厚み及び/又は強度は前記側部部材の厚み及び/又は強度よりも小さいことを特徴とする一部品座席構造。 - 前記テーラードブランクが、前記上部部材、側部部材及び下部部材のそれぞれ第1、第2及び第3のテーラード溶接コイルから構築されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の一部品座席構造。
- 前記ブランクが、前記第1及び第2の部分の特徴をさらに変更するために、冷間形成後熱処理工程を受けた熱処理可能材料から構築されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の一部品座席構造。
- 前記一部品座席構造が、背もたれ及び背もたれフレームの1つであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の一部品座席構造。
- 前記一部品座席構造が、それぞれが異なる組の特徴を有する複数の部分を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の一部品座席構造。
- 座席基部に回転可能に結合される背もたれを備える車両座席アセンブリであって、
前記背もたれが、上部部材と、2つの側部部材と、2つの端部分及び中央部分を含む下部部材とを有する一部品座席構造であり、
前記一部品座席構造の少なくとも第1の部分が前記一部品座席構造の第2の部分とは異なる一組の特徴を有し、
前記一部品座席構造が冷間成形工程を用いてテーラードブランクから形成され、前記テーラードブランクが互いに結合された前記上部部材、側部部材及び前記下部部材から構築され、
前記特徴が、形状、大きさ、質量、強度、量、材料、厚み、機能、利便性及び位置の少なくとも1つであり、前記側部部材の厚みは前記上部部材の厚みよりも大きく、且つ前記2つの端部分の厚みは前記側部部材の厚みよりも大きく、前記中央部分の厚み及び/又は強度は前記側部部材の厚み及び/又は強度よりも小さいことを特徴とする車両座席アセンブリ。 - 前記テーラードブランクが、前記第上部部材及び下部部材を前記側部部材に結合することにより構築されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の車両座席アセンブリ。
- 前記テーラードブランクが、前記上部部材、側部部材及び下部部材のそれぞれ第1、第2及び第3のテーラード溶接コイルから構築されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の車両座席アセンブリ。
- 一部品座席構造を形成する方法であって、
上部部材と2つの端部分及び中央部分を含む下部部材とを2つの側部部材に結合することによりテーラードブランクを構築するステップであって、前記テーラードブランクの少なくとも第1の部分が前記テーラードブランクの第2の部分とは異なる一組の特徴を有するステップと、
冷間成形工程を用いて前記テーラードブランクから前記一部品座席構造を形成するステップと
を備え、
前記特徴が、形状、大きさ、質量、強度、量、材料、厚み、機能、利便性及び位置の少なくとも1つであり、前記側部部材の厚みは前記上部部材の厚みよりも大きく、且つ前記2つの端部分の厚みは前記側部部材の厚みよりも大きく、前記中央部分の厚み及び/又は強度は前記側部部材の厚み及び/又は強度よりも小さいことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記テーラードブランクを構築するステップが、前記上部部材、下部部材及び側部部材のそれぞれ第1、第2及び第3のテーラード溶接コイルから前記テーラードブランクを構築することをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の方法。
