Claims (7)
- 長尺状をなし、かつ長手方向に沿って延在するルーメンを有するカテーテル本体と、
前記カテーテル本体の先端側に設置され、ガイドワイヤが挿通可能な管状をなし、先端開口部と基端開口部とを有するガイドワイヤ挿通部と、
前記基端開口部よりも基端側に少なくとも一部が配置されて素線が巻回されてなるコイル部および当該コイル部の素線から伸張して前記基端開口部よりも先端側まで形成される伸張部を備えた補強部と、を有し、
前記補強部は、前記カテーテル本体のルーメンの内面と外面の間に位置し、
前記カテーテル本体は、内部に前記ルーメンが形成される第1層と当該第1層の先端側の外周面を覆う第2層とで構成される管壁を有し、
前記コイル部は、前記第1層と前記第2層の間に挟まれるように、前記ルーメンの先端部側に前記ルーメンと同心的に埋設されていることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 前記伸張部の先端側の端部である伸張先端部が、前記素線を折り曲げた屈曲部で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記補強部は、1本の素線を折り曲げて形成される折り曲げ部を前記伸張先端部とし、前記素線の折り曲げ部と反対側をコイル状に巻回して前記コイル部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記伸張部は、基端側から先端側へ向かって曲げ剛性が傾斜的または段階的に減少することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記伸張部を構成する素線は、先端側に向かって細径化することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記伸張部は、前記ガイドワイヤ挿通部の中心軸と、前記カテーテル本体の中心軸との間に位置することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記補強部は、金属材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテル。
