Description
スチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物のムーニー粘度(ML1+4)を、JIS K6300に準拠してムーニー粘度計にてL型ロータを使用し、予熱時間1分、ロータの回転時間4分、温度100℃、2rpmの条件で測定した。得られた結果は、比較例1を100とする指数として表1,2に示した。この「ムーニー粘度」の指数が小さいほどゴム粘度が低く、成形加工性が優れることを意味する。
スチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物を150mm×150mm×2mmの金型中で、160℃、20分間プレス加硫して試験片を作製し、JIS K6251に準拠して、3号型ダンベル試験片を打抜き成形した。各ダンベル試験片を2群に分けその一方の群を70℃で96時間加熱(老化処理)を行った。老化処理前後のダンベル試験片を用いて、温度20℃、引張り速度500mm/分の条件で引張り試験を行ない50%伸張時の引張り応力を測定した。得られた結果は、[(老化処理後の引張り応力−老化処理前の引張り応力)/老化処理前の引張り応力×100]により引張り応力の変化率(%)を算出し、比較例1を100とする指数として表1,2の「老化防止性能」に示した。この指数が小さいほど老化防止性能が優れることを意味する。
得られたスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物を用いて、厚さ12.5mm、幅12.5mmの未加硫シートを成形した。この未加硫シートの長手方向とブラスめっき処理されたスチールコード(1×6構造、東京製綱社製)とが直交するように、スチールコードを未加硫シートでサンドイッチし、160℃、20分間の条件で加硫し、ASTM D2229に準拠する接着試験片を作製した。各接着試験片を2群に分けその一方の群を70℃で96時間加熱(老化処理)を行った。老化処理前後の接着試験片から、スチールコードを引き抜くときの引抜き力を、ASTM D2229に準拠する条件でスチールコードの引抜き試験を行ない、引抜き力(N)を測定した。得られた結果は、(老化処理後の引抜き力/老化処理前の引抜き力×100)により引抜き力の保持率(%)を算出し、比較例1の値を100とする指数として表1,2の「老化接着性」に示した。この指数が大きいほど老化接着性が優れることを意味する。
得られた空気入りタイヤをリム(15×6JJ)に装着し、酸素を350kPaの圧力で充填し、80℃で5日間老化させた。その後、空気圧200kPaの空気を充填して、ドラム径1707mmで、JIS D4230に準拠する室内ドラム試験機にかけて、荷重3600Nを負荷し、速度80km/hで2時間走行させた後、速度を120km/hに上げて24時間走行させた。その後、24時間走行する毎に速度を10km/hずつ上げ、タイヤ故障を起こすまでの走行距離を測定した。得られた結果は、比較例1の値を100とする指数として表1,2の「高速耐久性」に示した。この指数が大きいほど高速耐久性が優れることを意味する。

茶抽出物:太陽化学社製サンカトールNo1、茶由来ポリフェノールを10重量%含有しこれを界面活性剤で処理したものであり、その茶由来ポリフェノールが茶カテキン70重量%とカテキン以外の茶ポリフェノール類を含むもの
エピカテキン:ナカライデスク社製(−)−エピカテキン、カテキン99重量%
有機酸Co−1:ナフテン酸コバルト、コバルト含量10重量%、大日本インキ化学工業社製
有機酸Co−2:ステアリン酸コバルト、コバルト含量8重量%、大日本インキ化学工業社製
有機酸Co−3:オルトホウ酸コバルト、コバルト含量22重量%、ローディア社製マノボンドC22.5
不溶性硫黄:四国化成工業社製ミュークロンOT−20(硫黄分80%)
加硫促進剤:大内新興化学工業社製ノクセラーDZ−G
Claims (4)
- ジエン系ゴム100重量部に対し、有機酸コバルト塩をコバルト量として0.1〜0.3重量部、カテキンを含む茶抽出物を0.01〜5重量部配合すると共に、前記茶抽出物がカテキン及びカテキン以外の茶ポリフェノールを含むことを特徴とするスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物。
- 前記茶抽出物がカテキンを1重量%以上含むものである請求項1に記載のスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物。
- 前記有機酸コバルト塩がホウ素を含む請求項1又は2に記載のスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物。
- 請求項1,2又は3に記載のスチールコード被覆用ゴム組成物を使用した空気入りタイヤ。
