Description
本非仮特許出願は、35 U.S.C.§119(e)に基づき、米国仮特許出願第61/195,434号(出願日:2008年10月6日;発明の名称:LOW METAL LOADED,ALUMINA SUPPORTED,CATALYST COMPOSITIONS AND AMINATION PROCESS)からの優先権を主張する。この仮特許出願を参照することによって本明細書中に組み入れる。
本発明は、金属含有触媒組成物に関する。より詳しくは、本発明は、酸性混合金属酸化物担体に担持された、総金属配合量が少ない、コバルト、ニッケル若しくは銅又はそれらの混合物を含む触媒に関する。本発明は前記金属含有触媒組成物を用いるアミノ化反応にも関する。
コバルト約1.7重量%とニッケル約5.1重量%;コバルト約1.7重量%とニッケル約5.1重量%;コバルト約3.4重量%とニッケル約3.4重量%;並びにコバルト約1.13重量%及びニッケル約5.63重量%。

触媒の製造
特に断らない限り、低濃度で金属を配合した触媒組成物は、以下の一般化手順を用いて製造した。表2は、製造した触媒組成物のリストを含み、表3は比較の目的で用いた市販担持触媒のリストを含む。
この触媒50gを50ccの微細ガラスビーズ(約60メッシュ)と共に、内径0.688インチの管形反応器に装入した。反応器を砂浴中で、水素を30slphで流しながら180℃まで加熱し、これらの条件に16時間保持した。活性化後、水素粒を3slphに減少させ、温度を1時間120℃に安定化させてから、液体供給を開始した。
態様1.(a)遷移アルミナとアルミナの重量百分率より低い重量百分率を有する第2の金属の酸化物とを含んでなる酸性混合金属酸化物を含む担体部分と
(b)コバルト、ニッケル及び銅からなる群から選ばれた1種又はそれ以上の金属を含む触媒部分
とを含んでなり、レニウムを全く含まないか又は0.01重量%未満しか含まず、そして前記触媒部分が触媒組成物の25重量%又はそれ以下である触媒組成物。
態様2.前記触媒部分が前記触媒組成物の20重量%又はそれ以下である態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様3.前記触媒部分が前記触媒組成物の3〜18重量%の範囲である態様2に記載の触媒組成物。
態様4.前記触媒部分がコバルト、ニッケル及び銅からなる群から選ばれた2又は3種の金属を含む態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様5.前記触媒部分がコバルト及びニッケルを含む態様4に記載の触媒組成物。
態様6.前記触媒部分がコバルトとニッケルとを1:9〜9:1の範囲の重量比で含む態様5に記載の触媒組成物。
態様7.前記触媒部分がコバルトとニッケルとを1:4〜4:1の範囲の重量比で含む態様6に記載の触媒組成物。
態様8.前記触媒部分がレニウムを全く含まないか又は0.005重量%未満しか含まない態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様9.前記触媒部分が、周期表の第IA族、第IIA族、第IIIA族、第IVA族、第VA族、第VIA族、第VIIA族、第VIIIA族、第IB族、第IIB族及び第IVB族から選ばれた少なくとも1種の元素を含む選択性促進剤を更に含み、前記選択性促進剤がレニウム、ロジウム、白金、パラジウム又はイリジウムのいずれでもない態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様10.前記担体部分が、
直径1/8インチ(3.175mm)又はそれ以下の押出物;
直径3mm又はそれ以下の球体;及び
直径1/8インチ(3.175mm)又はそれ以下のトリローブ
からなる群から選ばれる態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様11.反応体化合物を態様1に記載の触媒組成物と接触させる工程を含んでなり、前記反応体化合物がアミノ交換反応されてアミノ化生成物となる反応体化合物のアミノ交換反応方法。
態様12.前記反応体化合物がエチレンジアミン(EDA)であり、前記アミノ化生成物がジエチレンドアミン(DETA)である態様11に記載の方法。
態様13.DETAがピペラジン(PIP)を含む生成混合物中に存在し、前記DETA対PIP比がEDA転化率25%において10:1〜13:1の範囲である態様12に記載の方法。
態様14.前記反応体化合物がEDAであり、前記アミノ化生成物がトリエチレンテトラミン(TETA)である態様11に記載の方法。
態様15.TETAがPIPを含む生成混合物中に存在し、前記DETA対PIP比が、EDA転化率25%において、1:1〜約1.5:1の範囲である態様14に記載の方法。
態様16.(a)δ又はθ相アルミナを含む遷移アルミナとアルミナの重量百分率より低い重量百分率を有する第2の金属の酸化物とを含んでなる酸性混合金属酸化物を含む担体部分と
(b)コバルト、ニッケル及び銅からなる群から選ばれた1種又はそれ以上の金属を含む触媒部分
とを含んでなり、レニウムを全く含まないか又は0.01重量%未満しか含まず、そして前記触媒部分が触媒組成物の25重量%又はそれ以下である触媒組成物。
態様17.θ相アルミナを含んでなる遷移アルミナを含む態様16の触媒組成物。
態様18.反応体化合物EDAが、任意的に水素の存在下に、触媒組成物に液供給物として、提供される態様12に記載の方法。
Claims (5)
- (a)遷移アルミナとアルミナの重量百分率より低い重量百分率を有する第2の金属の酸化物とを含んでなる酸性混合金属酸化物を含む担体部分と
(b)コバルト、ニッケル及び銅からなる群から選ばれた1種又はそれ以上の金属を含む触媒部分
とを含んでなり、レニウムを全く含まないか又は0.01重量%未満しか含まず、そして前記触媒部分が触媒組成物の25重量%又はそれ以下であるアミノ交換反応用触媒組成物。 - 反応体化合物を請求項1に記載の触媒組成物と接触させる工程を含んでなり、前記反応体化合物がアミノ交換反応されてアミノ化生成物となる反応体化合物のアミノ交換反応方法。
- 前記反応体化合物がEDAであり、前記アミノ化生成物がトリエチレンテトラミン(TETA)である請求項2に記載の方法。
- (a)δ又はθ相アルミナを含む遷移アルミナとアルミナの重量百分率より低い重量百分率を有する第2の金属の酸化物とを含んでなる酸性混合金属酸化物を含む担体部分と
(b)コバルト、ニッケル及び銅からなる群から選ばれた1種又はそれ以上の金属を含む触媒部分
とを含んでなり、レニウムを全く含まないか又は0.01重量%未満しか含まず、そして前記触媒部分が触媒組成物の25重量%又はそれ以下であるアミノ交換反応用触媒組成物。 - θ相アルミナを含んでなる遷移アルミナを含む請求項4に記載のアミノ交換反応用触媒組成物。
