Description
The present invention relates to a control device for an internal combustion engine.
。 When an intake port injection valve that injects fuel into the intake port and an in-cylinder injection valve that directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber, the fuel is supplied by only one of the injection valves. A technique is known in which an abnormality of one of the injection valves is detected from each torque fluctuation and fuel is supplied only by the normal injection valve (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
By the way, when the EGR device is provided, torque fluctuation can occur depending on the supply amount of EGR gas. Therefore, even if the torque fluctuation occurs, it is caused by the abnormality of the EGR device or the abnormality of the injection valve. You must judge whether it is due to. Further, in a system based on the assumption that fuel is supplied from two injection valves, if the fuel is supplied only by one of the injection valves, the system may be adversely affected.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and the object thereof is an EGR device, an injection valve that supplies fuel into an intake passage, an injection valve that supplies fuel into a cylinder, Whether there is an abnormality is determined, and if there is an abnormality, appropriate measures are taken accordingly.

It is characterized by providing.
Here, if there is an abnormality in the EGR device, the in-cylinder injection valve, or the in-passage injection valve, an abnormality occurs in the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust. The abnormality of the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust means that the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust does not meet the target value. That is, the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas is deviated from the target value. In this way, when the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust is abnormal, if the supply of EGR gas is stopped, the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust is not affected by the EGR gas. If there is an abnormality in the EGR device, the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust should be normal if the supply of EGR gas is stopped. If the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas is still abnormal even after the supply of EGR gas is stopped, the EGR device is normal and any of the injection valves is considered abnormal. It should be noted that devices other than the EGR device, the in-cylinder injection valve, and the in-passage injection valve may be previously confirmed by other means to be normal.
When it is determined that any one of the injectors is abnormal, fuel is supplied from only one injector. If there is an abnormality in one of the injection valves, the influence appears on the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust, and the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust becomes abnormal. At this time, if feedback control of the fuel supply amount is performed according to the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust, a feedback value or a learned value can be obtained. This feedback value or learning value increases as the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas deviates from the target value. Therefore, if the normal value is set as the predetermined value, the obtained feedback value or learning value is set to the predetermined value. In comparison, it can be determined whether an abnormality has occurred in one of the injection valves. If one of the injection valves is normal, the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust when the fuel is supplied only from the one injection valve is normal.
That is, if the feedback value or the learned value exceeds a predetermined value at this time, one of the injectors supplying the fuel is abnormal and the other injector not supplying the fuel is normal. Can be determined. In addition, when the feedback value or the learned value is equal to or less than the predetermined value, it can be determined that the other injector that is not supplying fuel is abnormal and the other injector that is supplying fuel is normal.
Note that even if feedback control is performed and the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas reaches the target value, the air-fuel ratio of each cylinder does not necessarily become the target value. That is, the air-fuel ratio of one cylinder deviates from the target value, and the air-fuel ratio of the entire exhaust gas deviates from the target value so that the air-fuel ratio becomes the target value in the other cylinders. Even if the air-fuel ratio of the entire exhaust gas reaches the target value by performing feedback control at this time, the air-fuel ratio approaches the target value in the one cylinder, but does not become the target value, and conversely in the other cylinders Deviation from the target value. As a result, the exhaust gas contains HC, CO, NOx, and the like. On the other hand, in the present invention, the fuel supply from the injection valve in which an abnormality has occurred is stopped. By supplying the fuel only from the normal injection valve, the air-fuel ratio in each cylinder can be adjusted to the target value.
As described above, when there is an abnormality in the EGR device, the supply of EGR gas from the EGR device can be prohibited to prevent the exhaust air-fuel ratio from becoming abnormal. Also, if any of the injection valves is abnormal, the fuel supply from the abnormal injection valve is stopped, and the fuel is supplied only from the other injection valves, so that the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust becomes abnormal. You can avoid that.
By the way, if the fuel is supplied only from the in-cylinder injection valve in a state where the EGR gas is being supplied, the combustion state may be deteriorated. That is, the fuel supplied from the in-cylinder injection valve is less ignitable than the fuel supplied from the in-passage injection valve, and therefore the ignitability is inferior. On the other hand, when the fuel is supplied only from the cylinder injection valve, the deterioration of the combustion state is suppressed by changing the operating point of the internal combustion engine. Here, if the operating point of the internal combustion engine is changed to the high rotation / low load side, the pressure in the intake passage decreases, so that there is a large amount of evaporated fuel such as purge gas stored in the canister or blow-by gas in the crankcase. Since a large amount of contained gas is introduced into the cylinder, deterioration of the combustion state can be suppressed.
In the present invention, the EGR device includes an EGR passage that connects the exhaust passage and the intake passage, and an EGR valve that adjusts a cross-sectional area of the EGR passage,
When it is determined by the injection valve abnormality determination means that the in-cylinder injection valve is abnormal, the control means stops the fuel supply from the in-cylinder injection valve, and only from the in-passage injection valve Fuel can be supplied, and the opening degree of the EGR valve can be increased more than when the in-cylinder injection valve is normal.
That is, by stopping the supply of fuel from the in-cylinder injection valve having an abnormality, the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust can be maintained normally. However, if fuel is supplied only from the in-passage injection valve, there is a concern that deposits adhere to the in-cylinder injection valve. On the other hand, when the opening degree of the EGR valve is increased, the EGR rate that is the ratio of the EGR gas amount to the total gas amount in the cylinder increases. If it does so, combustion temperature can be lowered | hung and the generation amount of NOx can be reduced. That is, since a deposit is generated by NOx, the amount of deposit generated can be reduced by reducing the amount of NOx generated. In addition, there is a concern about the deterioration of the combustion state due to an increase in the EGR rate, but since the diffusion of fuel is promoted by supplying fuel only from the injection valve in the passage, the combustion state is improved, so the combustion state It can suppress the deterioration. Note that the opening of the EGR valve may be increased within a range in which the combustion state does not deteriorate.
In the present invention, the detection means includes an oxygen sensor that is provided in the exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine and outputs a signal corresponding to the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas,
The EGR device includes an EGR passage that connects an exhaust passage and an intake passage downstream of the oxygen sensor, and an EGR valve that adjusts a cross-sectional area of the EGR passage,
When the EGR device abnormality determining unit determines that either the in-passage injection valve or the in-cylinder injection valve is abnormal, the control unit has an abnormality in the in-passage injection valve and the in-cylinder injection valve. The opening degree of the EGR valve can be increased as compared with when there is no.
Here, when the EGR gas is supplied, the EGR passage is connected to the exhaust passage downstream of the oxygen sensor as compared to the case where the EGR passage is connected to the exhaust passage upstream of the oxygen sensor. This increases the amount of exhaust that passes through the oxygen sensor. That is, when the EGR passage is connected to the exhaust passage upstream of the oxygen sensor, the amount of exhaust passing through the oxygen sensor is reduced by the amount taken into the EGR passage. In addition, when the EGR passage is connected to the exhaust passage downstream of the oxygen sensor, the amount of exhaust passing through the oxygen sensor increases as the opening degree of the EGR valve increases. If the amount of exhaust gas passing through the oxygen sensor is increased, a change in the air-fuel ratio when the fuel supply amount is changed can be detected earlier by the oxygen sensor. It can be converged.
According to the present invention, it is determined whether there is an abnormality in each of the EGR device, the injection valve that supplies fuel into the intake passage, and the injection valve that supplies fuel into the cylinder. Can take appropriate action accordingly.

The internal combustion engine 1 configured as described above is provided with an
In addition to the various sensors described above, an

In the
In this embodiment, the fuel injection amounts from the in-
Further, when the fuel injection amount is corrected by feedback control, the ratio of the fuel injection amount from the in-
In this embodiment, when it is determined that the air-fuel ratio obtained by the air-
When an abnormality in the air-fuel ratio is detected, this abnormality is caused because the fuel injection amount is deviated from the target value (which may be a command value), or the EGR gas amount is deviated from the target value. It is determined whether or not it has occurred. For this purpose, first, the
Conversely, if the abnormality of the air-fuel ratio is not resolved even when the
By the way, even if there is an abnormality in the in-
Therefore, in this embodiment, when fuel injection is performed only from the in-
In this embodiment, fuel is injected only from the in-
When it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the in-
When the fuel injection is performed only from the in-
Here, when fuel is injected only from the in-
Further, since fuel diffusion is promoted by injecting fuel only from the in-

In step S104, the EGR cut counter is counted up. That is, the time during which the supply of EGR gas is stopped is integrated.
In step S105, it is determined whether or not the EGR cut counter is equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The predetermined value is a time during which the supply of EGR gas must be stopped in order to determine whether the
In step S106, the same processing as in step S101 is performed. In this step, even if the supply of EGR gas is stopped, it is determined whether the air-fuel ratio is still abnormal. If an affirmative determination is made in step S106, the supply of EGR gas is resumed and the process proceeds to step S107. On the other hand, if a negative determination is made, the process proceeds to step S108 and the EGR abnormality flag is turned ON. Here, the EGR abnormality flag is a flag that is turned ON when the
In step S107, it is determined whether or not the internal combustion engine 1 is idling. Since the fluctuation of the air-fuel ratio is small during idle operation, the feedback control of the fuel injection amount can be completed quickly. Therefore, in this embodiment, the abnormality of the injection valve is determined during idle operation. . If an affirmative determination is made in step S107, the process proceeds to step S109. If a negative determination is made, this step is repeatedly executed.

In step S110, it is determined whether the learning value of the air-fuel ratio is equal to or less than a predetermined value. In this step, it is determined whether there is an abnormality in the air-fuel ratio. If there is an abnormality in the air-fuel ratio, the learned value is increased in an attempt to cancel it. That is, the predetermined value here is an upper limit value in a range where the air-fuel ratio can be regarded as normal. If an affirmative determination is made in step S110, the process proceeds to step S111, and if a negative determination is made, the process proceeds to step S114. In this embodiment, the

In step S112, fuel injection from the in-

Next, in step S114, the passage injection valve abnormality flag is turned ON. The in-passage injection valve abnormality flag is a flag that is turned on when the in-

In step S116, the operating point is changed to a higher rotation and lower load side than normal. “Normal” refers to a case where there is no abnormality in the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust, and the optimum value of the normal operating point is obtained in advance by experiments or the like and stored in the
As described above, according to the present embodiment, when an abnormality occurs in the air-fuel ratio, it is possible to identify whether it is due to an abnormality in the

FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating a schematic configuration of the internal combustion engine 1 according to the present embodiment. Differences from FIG. 1 will be mainly described.

In the air-fuel ratio feedback control in this embodiment, the main feedback control for bringing the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust upstream of the three-
In the main feedback control, the fuel injection amounts from the in-
According to this main feedback control, ideally, the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing into the three-
For the reasons described above, even if the main feedback control is being performed, exhaust gas containing unpurified components may flow out downstream of the three-
When such an outflow occurs, the
In the sub-feedback control, control (for example, PID control) for reducing the difference between the output value of the
As described above, the sum of the correction value corresponding to the short-term change due to the main feedback control and the learning value corresponding to the temporal change due to the sub-feedback control is obtained as the feedback correction amount to adjust the fuel injection amount. Is done. Note that the same air-fuel ratio feedback control may also be performed in the first embodiment, and the abnormality of the injection valve may be determined based on the learned value during the sub-feedback control. That is, the learning value in step S110 may be a learning value obtained by sub feedback control.
In this embodiment, when it is determined that there is an abnormality in the in-
Thus, when the opening degree of the

FIG. 5 is a flowchart showing a flow of fuel injection control according to the present embodiment. This routine is repeatedly executed by the
