Claims (2)
- 内周面に雌ネジが形成された円筒部を備える支持体の内部に収容される回転体を、前記円筒部に対して回転自在に支持するテーパローラベアリングの予圧調節機構であって、
外周面に雄ネジと断面がV形の複数の溝とが形成され、前記雄ネジを前記円筒部の内周面に形成された雌ネジに螺合させて前記テーパローラベアリングに予圧を加えるアジャスティングナットと、
前記アジャスティングナットを前記円筒部の内周面に螺合させたときに、前記溝に開口するように前記円筒部の外周面から内周面に向かって貫通形成されたネジ孔と、
前記ネジ孔を通って前記溝に嵌め込まれるボールと、
前記ネジ孔に螺合させ、前記ボールを前記溝に押し付けて前記アジャスティングナットの回転を規制するボルトと、
を備えることを特徴とするテーパローラベアリングの予圧調節機構。 - 前記回転体は、アクスルシャフトを挿入する円筒状のアクスルシャフト挿入部を備える終減速差動装置のディファレンシャルケースであり、
前記支持体は、前記アクスルシャフト挿入部を、前記テーパローラベアリングを介して支持する終減速差動装置のディファレンシャルキャリアである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のテーパローラベアリングの予圧調節機構。
