Abstract
Description
The present invention has first and second pulleys around which a V-belt is wound, and a continuously variable transmission in which the outer diameters of the winding regions of the first and second pulleys where the V-belt is pressed are variable. Relates to the device.
As a continuously variable transmission using a V belt, for example, the one described in Patent Document 1 (V belt type continuously variable transmission) is known. The continuously variable transmission described in Patent Document 1 includes a drive pulley, a driven pulley, and a V-belt wound around each of these pulleys.
The drive pulley includes a drive pulley shaft connected to an engine crankshaft, a fixed sheave fixed to the drive pulley shaft, a movable sheave that is splined to be movable in the axial direction to the drive pulley shaft, and a movable A shift actuator is provided for changing the drive pulley width (changing the contact radius of the V-belt) by driving the sheave along the axial direction. The speed change actuator includes an electric motor, a slider to which the rotational force generated by the electric motor is transmitted via a reduction gear train, and a shaft-like member disposed on the outer peripheral side of the drive pulley shaft. Here, the slider and the shaft-shaped member constitute, for example, a ball screw mechanism.
In the continuously variable transmission, when the slider screwed to the shaft-like member arranged on the outer periphery of the drive pulley shaft rotates due to the rotational force from the electric motor, the slider responds to the rotation amount in the direction corresponding to the rotation direction. Move in the axial direction by the distance you want. Then, as the slider moves in the axial direction, the movable sheave moves in the axial direction so as to follow the slider.
On the other hand, the driven pulley is spline-coupled to the driven pulley shaft that is connected to the axle via a speed reducer, the fixed sheave that is fixed to the driven pulley shaft, and the driven pulley shaft that is movable in the axial direction. A movable sheave and a thrust spring that constantly urges the movable sheave toward the fixed sheave are provided.
In the continuously variable transmission described in Patent Document 1, when the movable sheave is driven along the axial direction by a speed change actuator to change the drive pulley width and change the contact radius of the V belt in the drive pulley, this drive pulley width Thus, the movable sheave in the drive pulley moves along the axial direction so that the driven pulley width changes, and the contact radius of the V belt in the driven pulley also changes. At this time, the contact radius of the V belt in the driven pulley increases or decreases in the opposite direction to the change (increase / decrease) in the contact radius of the V belt in the drive pulley.
By the way, in the continuously variable transmission as described in Patent Document 1, due to its structure, the urging force of the thrust spring in the driven pulley is always transmitted through the movable sheave of the driven pulley, the movable sheave of the V-belt and the drive pulley. Is transmitted to. Therefore, when performing a speed change operation, the speed change actuator needs to drive (advance and retract) the movable sheave of the drive pulley in the axial direction against at least the biasing force of the thrust spring. Needs to generate at least a rotational force (drive torque) corresponding to the urging force of the thrust spring, and the capacity (rating) of the electric motor is also set according to the magnitude of the drive torque.
Further, in the continuously variable transmission as described in Patent Document 1, the movable sheave of the drive pulley is stopped against the urging force of the thrust spring even when the transmission ratio is kept constant without performing a speed change operation. It is necessary to generate a rotational force (holding torque) corresponding to the urging force of the thrust spring by the electric motor of the speed change actuator, and to continue supplying a current corresponding to the holding torque to the electric motor.
Therefore, in the continuously variable transmission as described in Patent Document 1, even when the shift operation is not performed, electric power that is not significantly different from that during the shift operation is consumed by the electric motor of the shift actuator. The amount of power consumed by the continuously variable transmission becomes large.
In the continuously variable transmission as described in Patent Document 1, when the transmission torque is large, the V belt is used in a high tension state, and the urging force of the thrust spring is increased according to the tension value of the V belt. It is necessary to increase the rating of the electric motor as the urging force of the thrust spring increases. For this reason, when the transmission torque (capacity) of the continuously variable transmission is large, it is required to use a motor with a high rating as the electric motor, and the power consumption of the electric motor during both the shifting operation and the non-shifting operation. Will increase.
In addition, in a vehicle such as that described in Patent Document 2, the engine is started after the gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission is returned to low at the time of a start operation for restarting. Since a mechanism for forcibly controlling the transmission gear ratio to low is required, the structure of the continuously variable transmission becomes complicated.
In view of the above facts, the object of the present invention is to reduce the energy consumed by the speed change actuator during operation of the transmission and to increase the capacity of the transmission. An object of the present invention is to provide a continuously variable transmission that can effectively suppress an increase in energy consumed by a speed change actuator.
In order to solve the above-described problem, a continuously variable transmission according to a first aspect of the present invention includes a first pulley shaft, a first fixed sheave fixed to the first pulley shaft, and an axial direction by the first pulley shaft. A first pulley having a first movable sheave supported so as to be movable along a first pulley groove formed between the first fixed sheave and the first movable sheave; A second fixed sheave, a second fixed sheave fixed to the second pulley shaft, and a second movable sheave supported by the second pulley shaft so as to be movable along the axial direction. And a second pulley having a second pulley groove formed between the first and second movable sheaves, one end being wound around the first pulley groove and the other end being wound around the second pulley groove. Advancing and retracting the endless V-belt to be hung and the first movable sheave along the axial direction Thus, the speed change actuator that changes the outer diameter of the first winding region where the V-belt is in pressure contact with the first pulley groove and the second movable sheave are made with a thrust corresponding to the tension of the V-belt. The outer diameter of the second winding region, which is urged toward the second fixed sheave side along the axial direction and the V-belt is in pressure contact with the second pulley groove, is set to the outside of the first winding region. A thrust spring that varies so as to follow a change in diameter, and a counter spring that biases the first movable sheave toward the first fixed sheave along the axial direction with a counter force corresponding to the thrust of the thrust spring. If, have a, the counter spring is interposed between said first movable sheave and the support for supporting the first pulley axis, wherein the restoring force in the axial direction as the counter force 1st movable sea The counter force is set to be smaller than the thrust, and the speed change actuator includes an electric motor, a conversion mechanism that converts the rotational force of the electric motor into a linear driving force, and an output from the conversion mechanism. A swing member that swings by the driven force and transmits the drive force to the first movable sheave to advance and retract the first movable sheave in the axial direction. Is mounted so as to rotate integrally with the first pulley shaft, and an inner ring of a ball bearing is press-fitted into the outer periphery of the central cylindrical portion of the first movable sheave, and the outer ring of the ball bearing is inserted into a bearing holder. The counter spring is fitted between the bearing holder and the support body that supports the first pulley shaft .
In the continuously variable transmission according to the first aspect, the thrust spring biases the second movable sheave toward the second fixed sheave side along the axial direction with a thrust corresponding to the tension of the V-belt. The outer diameter of the second winding area where the V-belt is in pressure contact with the pulley groove is varied so as to follow a change in the outer diameter of the first winding area accompanying the speed change operation by the speed change actuator, and the counter spring is One movable sheave is biased toward the first fixed sheave side along the axial direction with a counter force corresponding to the thrust of the thrust spring.
Thereby, for example, when it is assumed that the counter force generated by the counter spring is “0”, the thrust of the thrust spring is the first component force along the axial direction via the second movable sheave and the V-belt. A force (reaction force) corresponding to the thrust of the thrust spring is transmitted to the speed change actuator via the first movable sheave. Therefore, in this case, when performing a speed change operation, the speed change actuator becomes the target for the first movable sheave unless the driving force exceeding the reaction force corresponding to the thrust is transmitted to the first movable sheave. When the gear ratio cannot be moved to a position corresponding to the gear ratio and the gear ratio is kept constant, a driving force substantially equal to the reaction force corresponding to the thrust of the thrust spring is continuously transmitted to the first movable sheave. If not, the first movable sheave cannot be stopped at a position corresponding to the gear ratio at that time.
On the other hand, when the counter force generated by the counter spring exceeds “0”, the thrust of the thrust spring is the first movable sheave as a component force along the axial direction via the second movable sheave and the V belt. However, since a counter force in the direction opposite to the component force corresponding to the thrust is applied to the first movable sheave by the counter spring, a component force corresponding to the thrust is transmitted to the speed change actuator. A force (reaction force) equal to the difference between the counter force and the counter force is transmitted through the first movable sheave.
Therefore, in this case, when performing the speed change operation, the speed change actuator transmits a driving force exceeding the reaction force equal to the difference between the component force corresponding to the thrust and the counter force to the first movable sheave, The first movable sheave can be moved to a position corresponding to the target gear ratio, and when the gear ratio is kept constant, the difference between the component force corresponding to the thrust and the counter force (reaction force) Can continue to be transmitted to the first movable sheave, the first movable sheave can be stopped at a position corresponding to the gear ratio at that time.
As a result, according to the continuously variable transmission according to the first aspect, if the magnitude of the counter force of the counter spring is appropriately set according to the magnitude of the thrust of the thrust spring, Energy consumed for stopping the first movable sheave can be reduced, and energy consumed when the shift actuator moves the first movable sheave to a position corresponding to the target gear ratio. Even if the thrust of the thrust spring is increased in order to increase the capacity of the transmission, it is effective that the energy such as electric power consumed by the speed change actuator increases as the thrust increases. Can be suppressed.
Also continuously variable transmission according to claim 2 of the present invention, in the continuously variable transmission according to claim 1, characterized in that the conversion mechanism is constituted by a ball screw mechanism.
As described above, according to the continuously variable transmission according to the present invention, the energy consumed by the speed change actuator during operation of the transmission can be reduced, and the capacity of the transmission can be increased even when the capacity of the transmission is increased. Along with the increase, it is possible to effectively suppress an increase in energy consumed by the speed change actuator.

As shown in FIG. 6, the

(Operation of continuously variable transmission)
Next, the operation of the continuously
During transmission of power, the
Here, when the control device instructs to decelerate, electric power having a predetermined polarity is supplied to the
Then, the lower end of the
On the other hand, in the driven
Since the component force F2 acting on the
In the continuously
On the other hand, when the control device instructs to increase the speed, electric power having the opposite polarity to that described above is supplied to the
Then, the lower end of the
On the other hand, in the driven

(Operation of continuously variable transmission)
Next, the operation of the continuously
Accordingly, for example, when it is assumed that the counter force CF generated by the
Therefore, in this case, when performing a speed change operation, the
On the other hand, when the counter force CF generated by the
Therefore, in this case, when performing the speed change operation, the
As a result, according to the continuously
Further, in the continuously
In the continuously
Thereby, for example, compared with the case where the ball screw mechanism is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the
At this time, in particular, since the ball screw mechanism is used as the conversion mechanism for converting the rotational motion in the
Further, by transmitting the force generated by the ball screw mechanism to the
In the continuously
As a result, for example, immediately after the vehicle is traveling at a high speed, the continuously

(Modification of continuously variable transmission)
Next, a continuously variable transmission according to a modification of the embodiment of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 7 shows a continuously variable transmission according to Modification 1 of the embodiment of the present invention. The continuously
Also in the continuously
Further, in the continuously
Further, in the continuously
In the continuously

FIG. 8 shows a continuously variable transmission according to Modification 2 of the embodiment of the present invention. The continuously
According to the continuously
FIG. 9 shows a continuously variable transmission according to Modification 3 of the embodiment of the present invention. The continuously
Since the
Therefore, also in the continuously
