Description
本発明は、コーティングが施される対象基材(object base body)であって、この基材は金属製で、好ましくは請求項1に係る台所用電気製品の基材に関し、さらに請求項12に係る層を形成する方法に関する。
コーティングされた対象基材として、抗付着効果を示す台所用品が、特許文献1、特許文献2及び特許文献3に記載されている。このとき、抗付着層は、他の層に接していない表面(free surface)を有する最上部の層、つまり、炒めたり茹でたり煮たりする食材と接触する層として用いられる。
本発明は、層の結合性に優れており抗付着性と自浄作用が改善されたコーティングを施した対象基材(特に台所用品)を製造することを目的とする。さらには、前記層複合体に、100℃以上の高温であっても上記抗付着特性と自浄特性を維持させることを目的とする。
上記目的は、繊維性材料を添加した層材料で、対象基材(特に金属製のもの)をコーティング(少なくとも1層を有する)することで解決される。前記層材料は、通常ペースト状であり最終工程で硬化される。

本発明に係る実施形態例を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1は、水平な平滑面上及び粗面上にある液滴の概略図であり、前記面は、水平方向のときも、水平方向に対して角度αで傾いているときもある。図2は、台所用品の基材の拡大断面図であり、繊維が混合されて基材に直接形成された接着促進層と該接着促進層上に形成された抗付着層を有するコーティングが、基材に施されている。図3は、図2に記載した台所用品のコーティングに類似した、コーティングの他の実施態様であり、硬質材料層、接着促進層、中間層及び抗付着層を有するコーティングが施されている。
図2では、コーティングされた台所用品1(対象基材)を断面図で記載している。この台所用品1には、例えば、鍋、ポット、パンの受け台、キャセロールなどがある。アイロンやアイロンがけ機械の加熱板なども対象基材となりうる。

- コーティング(5、21)が設けられた金属製対象物の基材(3、24)であって、
前記コーティング(5、21)の少なくとも1つの層が、繊維性材料を含有した層材料を含有し、
前記繊維性材料の繊維のうち少なくとも20質量%の繊維(11)が、前記層の厚さよりも少なくとも5%長い繊維の長さを有し、かつ
少なくとも前記長い繊維(11)の末端部が、3〜1000μm −1 の空間的割合で凸部と凹部を有する前記層の表面を形成する金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。 - 前記層の表面が、前記コーティングの最外層の表面であり、前記空間的割合の変形で生じた粗さにより、自浄効果が高まり、及び/または抗付着効果が改善若しくは生じることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記層に加えてさらなる層が存在し、前記層の表面は、前記さらなる層との接触表面であり、前記接触表面の前記空間的割合の変形により、前記層と前記さらなる層との間の接着性を改善するための噛み合せが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記各層が、2〜150μmの厚さであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記空間的割合で変形した表面が、確率的に分布した凸部と凹部を有し、粗さを形成する前記凸部は、層の平均の高さよりも0.1〜500μm高く、50nm〜500μmの間隔で位置していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記繊維性材料の前記繊維(11)は、直径が2〜8μmのカーボンファイバであり、前記層材料にダイヤモンド結晶が含まれていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記コーティングのうち少なくとも1つの層に、ダイヤモンド結晶が含まれていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記最外層が、抗付着性材料である、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、ペルフルオロアルコキシ(PFA)及びフッ素化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)からなる群から選択された化合物を有する抗付着層(9、31)であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記対象物基材(24)の表面に硬質材料層(25)、該硬質材料層(25)の表面に接着促進層(27)、該接着促進層(27)の表面に中間層(29)が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 前記対象物基材の表面に、前記接着促進層(7、27)、該接着促進層(7、27)の表面に前記中間層(29)が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の金属製対象物の基材(3、24)。
- 金属製対象物の基材(3、24)に、層材料を用いて少なくとも1つの層(7、9、25、27、29、31)を形成する方法であって、
前記層(7、9、25、27、29、31)の形成前、形成中または形成後に、少なくとも20質量%の繊維(11)が、前記層の厚さよりも少なくとも5%長い繊維の長さを有している繊維性材料を層材料に添加する工程と、
前記層を硬化させる工程と、を備え、
硬化後に少なくとも前記長い繊維(11)の末端部により、3〜1000μm−1の空間的割合で変形を有する粗面(47)が生成されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記層の粗面が、コーティングの最外層の表面であり、該粗面が、自浄効果を高め、及び/または抗付着効果を改善若しくは生じさせる前記空間的割合で変形していることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記層の粗面が、さらなる層と接触する表面であって、該粗面に層の接着性を改善する噛み合せが形成されることを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載の方法。
- 繊維性材料の添加された少なくとも1つの層を形成するために、ペースト状で硬化可能な、前記繊維性材料を含有した前記層材料を使用し、該層材料を、コーティング(5、21)の前記さらなる層または前記基材(3、24)に塗布後に硬化し、添加される前記繊維性材料の前記繊維の少なくとも20質量%は、平均の層の厚さよりも少なくとも5%長い繊維の長さを有することを特徴とする請求項11ないし13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記層材料は粘度を有しており、前記基材(3、24)上または前記コーティングのさらなる層(5、21)上に前記繊維性材料を含有する前記層材料を塗布し、該層材料は前記繊維を包みながら前記基材の表面まで沈んで、規定された前記空間的割合で変形した表面が得られることを特徴とする請求項11ないし14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- コーティング(5、21)の最外層(9、31)用の前記層材料として、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、ペルフルオロアルコキシ(PFA)及びフッ素化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)からなる群から選択された化合物が使用され、前記最外層の表面が抗付着効果または自浄効果を有することを特徴とする請求項11ないし15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記層材料にダイヤモンド結晶が添加されることを特徴とする請求項11ないし16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
