Description
Claims (12)
- 神経刺激システムであって、
患者の組織内に正しく位置決めした後に前記患者の組織に対して動くことができる構成の複数の電極を含む植え込み型の電極リードを有し、
前記電極リードに結合されるよう構成された植え込み型の電気刺激装置を有し、前記電気刺激装置は、前記電極リードから患者の組織内に送られた電気エネルギーに基づいて電気的パラメータデータを所与の期間にわたり測定するように構成され、前記電気的パラメータデータは、前記患者の身体活動に応答して調整され、調整された前記電気的パラメータデータは、時間変化信号として測定され、
さらに、前記時間変化信号を分析し、分析した前記時間変化信号に基づいて前記期間中、前記患者の前記身体活動を追跡するよう構成された処理装置を有し、前記患者の身体活動は、前記患者に施された治療の効能を表す、
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記電気的パラメータデータは、電気インピーダンスデータ又は外界電位データのうちの一方又はこれら両方である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理装置は、前記刺激装置である、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 前記処理装置は、前記刺激装置と通信可能に構成された外部プログラマである、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間変化信号の分析は、前記時間変化信号の振幅を測定することを含む、請求項1〜4のうちのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間変化信号の振幅測定は、前記時間変化信号の最高最低振幅値を検出し、前記時間変化信号のエネルギーを検出し、又は、前記時間変化信号の包絡線を検出することを含む、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間変化信号の分析は、前記時間変化信号の形態学的特徴を決定することを含む、請求項1〜4のうちのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間変化信号の形態学的特徴の決定は、前記時間変化信号の包絡線を検出することを含む、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記患者の身体活動の追跡は、前記患者の身体活動レベルを追跡することを含む、請求項1〜8のうちのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記患者の身体活動の追跡は、前記患者により行われた身体的出来事を追跡することを含む、請求項1〜8のうちのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間変化信号は、振動性信号である、請求項1〜10のうちのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記身体活動は、足取り、および、姿勢の変化のうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1〜11のうちのいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
