Description
蛍光体変換は、光源が光の1つの色を供給しなければならない場合に、この問題への解決策を与えることができる。例えば、前述したように、白色光源は、青色光の一部を黄色光へ変換する蛍光体層で青色LEDを覆うことにより形成することができる。変換される光の一部が正確に選択される場合、人間の観察者は、その光を白色であると知覚する。そのような光源のコストは、青色LEDのコストによって左右される。今日、費用効率の高いこの種の白色光源が販売されているが、これらの光源は1つの「色温度」の白色光しか発しない。
下面27は、反射し、光が臨界角よりも小さい角度で上面26と衝突するように光の一部を所定の角度で反射する散乱中心28を含む。光は、上面を通じてライトボックス24から出て、X線フィルムを照らす。散乱中心は、ライトボックス24の上面が均一に照明されるように分布されている。なお、ライトボックス24の上面も同様に散乱中心を含むことができる。
ユーザは、所望の光強度および色度点の識別情報を、赤、青および緑の目標値の形態で光源コントローラ68へ供給する。強度は、目標値の相対値を一定に維持しつつ目標値の全てを増大し或いは減少することによりそれぞれ増大され或いは減少される。

Claims (6)
- 光源であって、
色制御信号の組に応じてCIE 1976色空間の所定の二次元領域内において変化され得る知覚色を有する光を発する3つの成分カラー光源と、
前記3つの成分光源からの光を組み合わせて、出力知覚色を有する出力光信号を生成するミキシング装置と、
前記光源の外部の1つの信号源からの入力信号に応じて前記色制御信号の組を生成するコントローラであって、前記入力信号によって決定される前記CIE 1976色空間内の1つの点で前記出力知覚色を維持するコントローラ
とを備え、
前記3つの成分カラー光源は、赤色LEDsグループ、青色LEDsグループ、及び緑色LEDsグループを含み、該赤色、青色、及び緑色LEDsグループの各々は、それぞれ、光スペクトラムの赤色、青色、及び緑色領域の光を発する複数のLEDsを含み、
前記青色LEDsグループは、光スペクトラムの白色領域の光を発する複数の白色LEDsを更に含み、
前記白色LEDsは、青色光の一部を黄色光へ変換する蛍光体を含む青色LEDsから構成されており、
前記赤色、青色、緑色LEDsグループの各々内のLEDsが、直列に接続されており、及び、
前記青色LEDsグループ内の白色LEDと青色LEDとが交互に接続されていることからなる、光源。 - 前記コントローラが、第1、第2、及び第3の電流ドライバを含み、該第1、第2、及び第3の電流ドライバが、それぞれ、前記赤色、青色、及び緑色LEDsグループに電流を供給することからなる、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 複数の光検出器から構成され得る検出器を前記コントローラが含み、該光検出器の各々には、異なる帯域通過フィルタを含めることができることからなる、請求項1又は2に記載の光源。
- 前記コントローラは、前記LEDsグループの各々を通じて流れる平均電流を制御し、及び、
前記コントローラが、コンパレータとパルス幅変調発生器とを含み、該コンパレータは、該パルス幅変調発生器を利用する前記LEDsグループの各々を通じて流れる前記平均電流を調整するために用いられる誤り信号を出力することからなる、請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の光源。 - 前記パルス幅変調発生器が、前記誤り信号を最小にするために前記LEDsグループの各々ごとにデューティファクタを調整する、請求項4に記載の光源。
- 前記ミキシング装置は、前記出力光信号によって均一に照明される透明な平面を備える、請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の光源。
