Claims (4)
- 連続鋳造機で鋳造されている鋳片の表面を、鋳型の下方に設けた二次冷却帯にて冷却水または冷却水と気体との混合体を用いて冷却する際に、前記冷却水または冷却水と気体との混合体の鋳片表面への衝突圧力を2kPa以下とし、MHF点を450℃以下にして、
鋳片表面温度を前記MHF点以上の膜沸騰の領域に保持して冷却することを特徴とする、連続鋳造における二次冷却方法。 - 前記冷却水または冷却水と気体との混合体を、隣り合うロール間に配置した、鋳片と相対する面に多数の噴出孔を有する多孔板ノズルを用いて鋳片表面に供給することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の連続鋳造における二次冷却方法。
- 前記噴出孔は、多孔板ノズルの鋳片と相対する面に千鳥配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の連続鋳造における二次冷却方法。
- 前記噴出孔は、直径が2mm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項2または請求項3に記載の連続鋳造における二次冷却方法。
