Description
前記取付基部から前記開口部周縁側に向けて膨出し、内部に中空部を有する表皮カバー部と、
可撓性を有するとともに、前記中空部に挿設された絶縁体と、
前記取付基部に対向するとともに、少なくとも一部が前記絶縁体に埋設された板状の電極と
を備える長尺センサであって、
前記中空部において、前記電極と前記取付基部との間に間隙部を設けるとともに、
前記電極をプラス極とし、前記取付基部をアースとしてのマイナス極とし、
前記電極と前記アースマイナス極との間の静電容量の変化に基づき、異物の前記表皮カバー部への近接及び/又は接触を検知するものであり、
前記表皮カバー部の内周面に、前記絶縁体側に向けて突出するカバー側突部を設けたことを特徴とする長尺センサ。
また、手段1によれば、異物の接触に伴う表皮カバー部の変形量が比較的小さくても、間隙部をより確実に潰れ変形させることができる。これにより、異物の検知精度を一層向上させることができる。
前記絶縁体のうち前記電極の対向面を被覆する被覆部の厚さを、50μm以上300μm以下としたことを特徴とする手段1に記載の長尺センサ。
加えて、前記絶縁体25の基底部22A側表面と取付基部22(基底部22A)表面との間に間隙部27が形成されている。当該間隙部27においては、前記電極26と取付基部22との間の間隔の最大値が0.5mm以上とされている。
Claims (4)
- 車両本体に設けられた開口部を開閉可能な開閉体の金属製の縁部に取着される取付基部と、
前記取付基部から前記開口部周縁側に向けて膨出し、内部に中空部を有する表皮カバー部と、
可撓性を有するとともに、前記中空部に挿設された絶縁体と、
前記取付基部に対向するとともに、少なくとも一部が前記絶縁体に埋設された板状の電極と
を備える長尺センサであって、
前記中空部において、前記電極と前記取付基部との間に間隙部を設けるとともに、
前記電極をプラス極とし、前記取付基部をアースとしてのマイナス極とし、
前記電極と前記アースマイナス極との間の静電容量の変化に基づき、異物の前記表皮カバー部への近接及び/又は接触を検知するものであり、
前記表皮カバー部の内周面に、前記絶縁体側に向けて突出するカバー側突部を設けたことを特徴とする長尺センサ。 - 前記電極のうち前記取付基部に対する対向面を、前記絶縁体により被覆するとともに、
前記絶縁体のうち前記電極の対向面を被覆する被覆部の厚さを、50μm以上300μm以下としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の長尺センサ。 - 前記絶縁体に、前記表皮カバー部に向けて突出する絶縁体側突部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の長尺センサ。
- 前記表皮カバー部と前記絶縁体との間に、空気からなる空間部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の長尺センサ。
