Description
図1に、本発明にかかるハードディスクドライブの衝撃保護装置がノートPCに組み込まれている一例の模式的分解斜視図を示す。HDD11は衝撃保護装置12で覆われて、その衝撃保護装置12の内部に実装され、衝撃保護装置12と共にノートPC19に実装されている。
「Ls11+Lpt+Ls12≧Lt」
の関係にあることが好ましい。
「A<L<A+Lw」
であり、なおかつ「ΔLw=(A+Lw)−L」とすると
「ΔLw/Lw<0.3」
であることが好ましい。
本発明の実施の形態2は、多くの点で本発明の実施の形態1と同様であるので、同じ部分については同一番号を付してその説明を省略し、実施の形態2が実施の形態1と異なる部分だけを説明する。

Claims (6)
- 衝撃を緩衝する緩衝部材であって、
圧縮変形するクッション性能を有する第1の緩衝材と、
柔軟性を有する樹脂材料から形成されたシート状の第2の緩衝材とからなり、
前記第1の緩衝材の一面から余材部分を残して途中までスリットを形成し、
前記第2の緩衝材を前記第1の緩衝材に形成されたスリットに挿入し取り付け、
前記第1の緩衝材に形成されたスリットへの前記第2の緩衝材の挿入方向の衝撃を前記第1の緩衝材の余材部分で緩衝し、前記余材部分による緩衝を超える衝撃は当該第1の緩衝材に形成された前記スリット中で摺動可能な前記第2の緩衝材が屈曲することにより緩衝するようにした緩衝部材。 - 前記第1の緩衝材に形成された前記スリットおよび当該スリットに挿入された前記第2の緩衝材は平行に配置された複数からなる請求項1に記載の緩衝部材。
- 請求項1または2に記載の緩衝部材における余材部分を、衝撃に弱い装置を収容するシート材からなる包装材に貼付した衝撃保護装置。
- 前記緩衝部材が貼付された前記包装材に、前記第2の緩衝材に加わった衝撃による座屈を防止するストッパを設けた請求項3に記載の衝撃保護装置。
- 請求項3または4のいずれかに記載の衝撃保護装置の包装材に、衝撃に弱い装置を収容した状態でこれを筐体内に装着した携帯情報機器であって、
A:第1の緩衝材のスリットの深さに対応した第2の緩衝材の辺の長さ、
L:第1の緩衝材が接する携帯情報機器の筐体端から包装材の面までの長さ(距離)、
Lw:衝撃保護装置の包装材に収容された衝撃に弱い装置が携帯情報機器に装着される前(第1の緩衝材が押し縮められる前)の前記余材部分の元の寸法(厚み)、としたとき、A<L<A+Lwが成立する携帯情報機器。 - ΔLw:前記衝撃保護装置の包装材に収容された衝撃に弱い装置を携帯情報機器筐体内に装着したときに前記余材部分が押し縮められる寸法(厚み)、としたとき、
ΔLw/Lw<0.3が成立する請求項5に記載の携帯情報機器。
