Description
Claims (5)
- 1つの車軸に一対の車輪の一方が外輪として他方が内輪として互いにリムのディスク面を対向隣接させて装着されてなる複輪が配備された車両に設けられ、前記複輪の各車輪装着位置が内輪側か或いは外輪側かを判定する車輪装着位置判定装置であって、
前記複輪のうちの一方の車輪に設けられ、前記車軸に沿ってリムの中心から前記ディスク面の方向に生ずる加速度を正の加速度として検出し他方の方向に生ずる加速度を負の加速度として検出する第1加速度センサと、該第1加速度センサによって検出された加速度の値と該車輪に固有の識別情報とを送信する送信手段とを有する第1センサと、
前記複輪のうちの他方の車輪に設けられ、前記車軸に沿ってリムの中心から前記ディスク面の方向に生ずる加速度を正の加速度として検出し他方の方向に生ずる加速度を負の加速度として検出する第2加速度センサと、該第2加速度センサによって検出された加速度の値と該車輪に固有の識別情報とを送信する送信手段とを有する第2センサと、
前記車両の本体に設けられ、車両本体の旋回方向の情報を取得する手段と、前記第1センサから送信された情報と前記第2センサから送信された情報とを受信する手段と、前記複輪の内輪側及び外輪側の車輪の加速度検出の正負の方向情報が記憶されている記憶手段と、前記車両本体の旋回方向情報と前記受信した情報と前記記憶手段の記憶情報とに基づいて前記各車輪の装着位置が外輪側か或いは内輪側かを判定する手段とを有する判定部とを備えている
ことを特徴とする車輪装着位置判定装置。 - 前記第1センサ及び前記第2センサは同じ形状の筐体を備え、
前記筐体の表面には加速度センサによる検出加速度の正負の方向を表す印が付けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪装着位置判定装置。 - 前記第1センサ及び前記第2センサは同じ形状の筐体を備え、
前記筐体は加速度センサにより検出加速度の正負の方向を表す形状をなしている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪装着位置判定装置。 - 前記車両本体の旋回情報を取得する手段は、前記車両本体の車軸方向に発生する加速度を検出する第3加速度センサと、該第3加速度センサの検出結果が所定値以上となったときに該検出結果を前記旋回情報として取得する手段とを有する
ことを特徴とすると請求項1に記載の車輪装着位置判定装置。 - 車軸方向に互いに対称な位置に設けられた1組の複輪のそれぞれの各車輪に設けられた1組の第1及び第2センサを備えると共に、
前記判定部は、一方の複輪の各車輪に装着された第1センサ及び第2センサから送信される情報を受信する第1受信手段と、他方の複輪の各車輪に装着された第1センサ及び第2センサから送信される情報を受信する第2受信手段と、前記車両本体の旋回方向情報に基づいて車両旋回による車軸方向における遠心力の発生方向を判定する手段と、前記第1受信手段によって受信した情報に含まれる前記遠心力発生方向の加速度と前記第2受信手段によって受信した情報に含まれる前記遠心力発生方向の加速度とを比較し、該比較結果に基づいて、前記一方の複輪と前記他方の複輪が車両の左右どちら側に位置するかを判定する手段とを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪装着位置判定装置。
