Description
(a)カムリングの凸面部に保持したシール材が摺接するアウタケースの内周面を、カムリングの揺動支点を中心とする円弧面とした。従って、カムリングがアウタケースの側の揺動支点に対して揺動するとき、カムリングの側のシール材の揺動軌跡はアウタケースの円弧状内周面に完全に沿うものになり、カムリングの側のシール材がアウタケースの円弧状内周面に摺接する密着度(押付力)は一定になり、カムリングのシール性は安定する。
(c)自動車用油圧パワーステアリング装置において、走行安定性や操舵感覚を向上しながら、上述(a)、(b)を実現できる。
吐出流量制御装置40は、ポンプケーシング11に固定されている上述のアウタケース19の鉛直最下部の内周面にシールピン31(揺動支点)を載置し、カムリング22の鉛直最下部をこのシールピン31に支持し、カムリング22をアウタケース19内で揺動変位可能としている。アウタケース19の全幅にわたり、アウタケース19の内周面に設けた凹部にシールピン31の下側半断面を嵌め込み載置し、カムリング22は、カムリング22の全幅にわたり、カムリング22の外周面に設けた凹部をシールピン31の上側半断面に嵌め込み支持する。
(1)ポンプ10の回転数が低い自動車の低速走行域では、ポンプ室23から吐出されて切換弁装置60の加圧室66Aに及ぶ流体の圧力が未だ低く、切換弁64は原位置に位置し、切換弁64は加圧室66Aを第1流体圧室41への連絡路61に対して閉じ、ドレン室66Cを第1流体圧室41への連絡路61に対して閉じる。このため、主絞り54の上流側の圧力は第1流体圧室41に供給されず、第2流体圧室42には主絞り54の下流側の圧力が印加される。このため、カムリング22は第1流体圧室41と第2流体圧室42の圧力差とばね51の付勢力によりポンプ室23の容積を最大とする側に維持され、ポンプ10の吐出流量は、回転数に比例して増加する。
(a)カムリング22の凸面部44に保持したシール材43が摺接するアウタケース19の内周面を、カムリング22のシールピン31を中心とする円弧面46とした。従って、カムリング22がアウタケース19の側のシールピン31に対して揺動するとき、カムリング22の側のシール材43の揺動軌跡はアウタケース19の円弧状内周面46に完全に沿うものになり、カムリング22の側のシール材43がアウタケース19の円弧状内周面46に摺接する密着度(押付力)は一定になり、カムリング22のシール性は安定する。

Claims (2)
- ポンプケーシングに挿入されるポンプ軸に固定して回転駆動されるとともに、多数のベーンを溝に収容して半径方向に移動可能としてなるロータと、
ポンプケーシング内の嵌装孔に嵌装されるアウタケースと、
アウタケースの内周面に設けた揺動支点に支持されて揺動変位可能とされ、ロータの外周部との間にポンプ室を形成するとともに、アウタケースとの間に第1と第2の流体圧室を形成するカムリングと、
第1流体圧室にポンプ吐出側通路に設けた主絞りの上流側の圧力を導入し、第2流体圧室に該主絞りの下流側の圧力を導入する吐出流量制御装置とを有し、
吐出流量制御装置が、主絞りの上、下流側の圧力差によって作動し、ポンプ室からの圧力流体の吐出流量に応じて第1流体圧室への供給流体圧を制御する切換弁装置を有してなる可変容量型ポンプにおいて、
カムリングの上記揺動支点に支持される部分とポンプ軸を挟んで概ね反対側となる外周面を、アウタケースの内周面に摺接するシール材を保持する凸面部とし、
カムリングの凸面部に保持したシール材が摺接するアウタケースの内周面を、上記揺動支点を中心とする円弧面とし、
前記アウタケースの内周面であって、前記シール材が摺接する円弧状内周面を、該円弧状内周面を周方向の両側から挟む両側内周面に対してへこみ状をなす凹面部としたことを特徴とする可変容量型ポンプ。 - 請求項1に記載の可変容量型ポンプを用いた自動車用油圧パワーステアリング装置。
