Description
本発明の抗菌性・架橋性を有する塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト用組成物は、架橋剤(チオカルバメート化合物、チオカルボネート化合物、イミダゾリン化合物、トリアジンチオール化合物又はそれらの塩)、抗菌剤(ドロマイトのか焼物又はドロマイトのか焼・消化物)の他に、ペースト用塩化ビニル樹脂、架橋促進剤、可塑剤、安定剤、減粘剤、その他添加剤からなる。
本発明で使用する架橋剤としては、例えば、ジアルキルジチオカルバメート、ナトリウム(カリウム)ジアルキルジチオカルバメート、トリチオカルバメート、ナトリウム(カリウム)トリチオカルバメート等のチオカルバメート化合物、トリチオカルボネート、ナトリウム(カリウム)トリチオカルボネート等のチオカルボネート化合物、2−メルカプトイミダゾリン等のイミダゾリン化合物、1,3,5−トリメルカプトトリアジン、1,3,5−トリメルカプトトリアジンのモノナトリウム(カリウム)塩、2−ジアルキルアミノ−1,3,5−トリアジン−4,6−ジチオール、2−ジアルキルアミノ−1,3,5−トリアジン−4,6−ジチオールのモノナトリウム(カリウム)塩等のトリアジンチオール化合物などが挙げられる。
中でも、塩化ビニル樹脂との反応性を考慮するとトリアジンチオール化合物が好ましい。これらの架橋剤は単独でも、2種以上併用して使用することもできる。
本発明で使用するドロマイトのか焼物又はドロマイトのか焼・消化物の平均粒径は1〜10μmであることが好ましく、2〜5μmであることがより好ましい。2.5〜3.5μmであることがさらにより好ましい。平均粒径が1μm以上であれば塩化ビニル樹脂ペーストが増粘することなく塗工が容易となり、平均粒径が10μm以下であれば表面外観が悪化することなく抗菌性が発現できる。
表面処理剤としては、ステアリン酸、オレイン酸、12−ヒドロキシステアリン酸などの高級脂肪酸、ステアリン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸亜鉛、ベヘン酸アルミニウムなどの脂肪酸金属塩、チタン系やシラン系などのカップリング剤、界面活性剤などを挙げることができ、表面処理の方法としては、例えば前記したドロマイトのか焼物又は、ドロマイトのか焼・消化物の粉砕を、ドロマイトのか焼物又はドロマイトのか焼・消化物と表面処理剤を混合して行うなど、公知の方法を使用することができる。
上記基材については特に制限はないが、塩化ビニル樹脂等の合成樹脂をカレンダー成形機、押出成形機、射出成形機、圧縮成形機、注形成形機等を用いてシート化したものや、紙、不織布等の合成樹脂以外の材料を用いることができる。ただし、いずれの場合においても、基材が上記加熱架橋時の高温に耐えうる強度を有している必要がある。
<耐シガレット性>
実施例、比較例で得られた試料の表面に約10mm程度火がついた煙草を3秒間載置後、ただちにガラス板で押し潰し、水を浸み込ませた布で表面の汚れを拭き取った後、試料の表面状態を目視で観察し以下の基準で評価した。
[評価基準]
◎:変色や膨れが全くなく優れた耐シガレット性を有する状態。
○:変色や膨れがほとんどなく耐シガレット性を有する状態。
△:変色(黒焦げではなく、黄変)や膨れが認められるが、耐シガレット性を
有する状態。
×:変色(黒焦げ)や膨れがあり耐シガレット性を有しない状態。
<ペースト塗工性>
実施例、比較例で調製した塩化ビニル樹脂ペーストをバーコーターで塗布しその時の塗工性を以下の基準で評価した。
[評価基準]
◎:問題なく塗工でき、外観もよい。
○:多少の塗布ムラは見られるが実用上問題ない程度である。
×:バーコーターでは塗工が困難か、塗工できても外観が悪い。
<抗菌性>
実施例、比較例で得られる試料について、JIS Z 2801に準拠して、黄色ブドウ球菌と大腸菌に関して、ポリエチレンフィルム密着後、24時間経過した後の生菌数を測定することで抗菌性の評価を行なった。
初期菌数:約100,000cfu/ml
[評価基準]
◎:24時間経過後の生菌数が10cfu/ml未満
(優れた抗菌性を有する範囲)
○:24時間経過後の生菌数が10cfu/ml以上で1,000cfu/ml未
満(抗菌性を有する範囲)
×:24時間経過後の生菌数が1,000cfu/ml以上
(抗菌性を有しない範囲)
表1に示す材料を使用して、表2〜5に示す配合割合からなる塩化ビニル樹脂ペーストを調製し、厚さ1.6mmの塩化ビニル樹脂製シートの表面にバーコーターを用いて、上記塩化ビニル樹脂ペーストを厚さ0.5mmに塗布し、190〜200℃のオーブン中で3〜5分間加熱架橋させ、架橋した表面層を有する塩化ビニル樹脂製シートを得た。その結果を表3〜5に示す。
天然ドロマイトをジェットミルで粉砕して分級し平均粒径を3μmに調整したものをドロマイトAとした。
天然ドロマイトを1000℃で焼成し、ジェットミルで粉砕して分級し平均粒径を3μmに調整したものを抗菌剤A−1とした。
天然ドロマイトを1000℃で焼成し、か焼物を得た後、消化し、ドロマイトのか焼・消化物を得た。得られたドロマイトのか焼・消化物をジェットミルで粉砕して分級し平均粒径を0.5(抗菌剤A−2−1)、1.0(抗菌剤A−2−2)、3.0(抗菌剤A−2−3)、9.0(抗菌剤A−2−4)、11.0(抗菌剤A−2−5)μmに調整したものを使用した。
また、比較例6のように、ドロマイトのか焼・消化物を添加せずに架橋剤Aを1.1重量%まで減らした場合、抗菌性が得られないだけでなく十分な架橋度も得られなかった。すなわち、ドロマイトのか焼・消化物を添加する事により架橋が促進され、架橋剤Aの添加量を減らしても十分な架橋度を得られる事がわかる。
Claims (4)
- 塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト中に、架橋剤0.5〜3重量%と、ドロマイトのか焼物又はドロマイトのか焼・消化物0.5〜5重量%とを含有する抗菌性・架橋性の塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト用組成物であって、上記架橋剤がチオカルバメート化合物、チオカルボネート化合物、イミダゾリン化合物、トリアジンチオール化合物又はそれらの塩の少なくとも1つ以上であることを特徴とする抗菌性・架橋性の塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト用組成物。
- 上記架橋剤がトリアジンチオール化合物又はその塩である請求項1に記載の抗菌性・架橋性の塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト用組成物。
- 上記ドロマイトのか焼物又はドロマイトのか焼・消化物の平均粒径が1〜10μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の抗菌性・架橋性の塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト用組成物。
- 請求項1〜3の何れか一つに記載の塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト用組成物を、基材表面に塗布して後、該塩化ビニル樹脂ペースト用組成物を加熱架橋させてなる抗菌性架橋塩化ビニル樹脂製シート。
