Claims (1)
- 固体高分子電解質膜を燃料極と酸素極とで挟持した燃料電池であって生成水が生じる燃料電池に挟まれるセパレータユニットであって、
重力方向に延在し、前記燃料極に供給される燃料ガスと前記酸素極に大気圧程度の常圧で供給される酸化剤ガスとを遮断する板状のセパレータ本体と、
該セパレータ本体の酸素極側に設けられ、網目状の開口を備え、前記酸素極に当接して前記燃料電池で発生した熱を放熱する集電体とを有し、
該集電体は、網目状の開口を備えるメタル板材から成るとともに、該メタル板材にプレス加工によって形成された重力方向に延在し、かつ、重力方向と直交する方向に並べられた複数の凸条を備える波板であり、
前記凸条の頂部の平面は前記酸素極に当接し、前記凸条間の谷部の平面は前記セパレータ本体に当接し、
前記集電体の開口率は、重力方向の下方に行くに従って大きくなるように変化することを特徴とするセパレータユニット。
