Description
Claims (15)
- 車両用のディスク式制動装置(10)であって、
軸(16)の周りで回転するディスク(14)を跨いで配置され、少なくとも一対のサービスパッド(18、20)を備えるサービスキャリパ(12)と、
前記ディスク(14)を跨いで配置される浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)であって、前記浮動パーキングキャリパの浮動構造体(36)に収容されている少なくとも一対のパーキングパッド(32、34)を含む前記浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)とを有し、
能動パッドである第1パーキングパッド(32)は、前記浮動構造体(36)の側部(38)に収容されているスラスト手段によって前記ディスク(14)に向けて直接付勢され、かつ前記第1パーキングパッド(32)に対向する、反作用パッドである第2パーキングパッド(34)は、前記第1パーキングパッド(32)と前記ディスク(14)との相互作用により生じる反作用により前記浮動構造体(36)が摺動するとき、前記浮動構造体(36)のブラケット部(40)によって前記ディスク(14)に対して付勢され、
前記ブラケット部(40)は、前記側部(38)から前記ディスク(14)に向けて軸方向に延在し、
前記ディスク式制動装置(10)は、前記車両の固定部に組み立てられるとともに、前記一対のサービスパッド(18、20)とそれに摺動可能に装着されている前記浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)とを受承する単一の装着構造体(22)を含み、
さらに、前記第1、第2パーキングパッド(32、34)の各々は、前記装着構造体(22)内に形成されているとともに、前記第1、第2パーキングパッド(32、34)の周方向に対向する側(52)を含む収容壁(50)によって周方向に画定される、前記装着構造体(22)の各々のハウジング(48)に摺動可能に挿入されているディスク式制動装置。 - 前記装着構造体(22)は、前記ディスク(14)の前記軸(16)に直交するとともに、前記第1パーキングパッド(32)と前記浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)の前記側部(38)との間に配置されることによって、前記第1パーキングパッド(32)の前記ハウジング(48)を軸方向に画定するハブ側の側壁(54)を含み、前記収容壁(50)は、前記ハブ側の側壁(54)から軸方向に延在する、請求項1に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記装着構造体(22)は、前記ディスク(14)の前記軸(16)に直交するとともに、前記ブラケット部(40)および前記第2パーキングパッド(34)の外側に軸方向に配置されることによって、前記第2パーキングパッド(34)と前記ブラケット部(40)との前記ハウジング(48)を軸方向に画定する車輪側の側壁(58)を含み、
前記収容壁(50)は、前記車輪側の側壁(58)から軸方向に延在する、請求項2に記載のディスク式制動装置。 - 前記装着構造体(22)は、前記一対の第1、第2パーキングパッド(32、34)と前記ブラケット部(40)の一部とを、前記ディスク(14)に平行な方向及び前記ディスクに対して軸方向の両方向に囲繞する、請求項3に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記ハブ側の側壁(54)と前記車輪側の側壁(58)とは、前記装着構造体(22)の端部において、前記ディスク(14)を跨いで延在する連結壁(60)によって接合されている、請求項3又は4に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)は、前記浮動構造体(36)と、前記装着構造体(22)の前記ハブ側の側壁(54)との間に配置されているガイド(64)上を摺動可能である、請求項3〜5のいずれか1項に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)は、前記浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)の周方向に対向する部分に配置されている2つの前記ガイド(64)に沿って摺動可能である、請求項6に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記ガイド(64)は、前記装着構造体(22)にネジ留めされ、前記浮動パーキングキャリパ(30)の摺動シート(68)内に設けられた摺動部(66)と一緒に延在する、請求項6又は7に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記摺動部(66)は、前記ガイド(64)の前記摺動部(66)の外側に、前記摺動部(66)と同軸に挿入されているスリーブ(72)を含む、請求項8に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記装着構造体(22)は、前記ディスク(14)の前記軸(16)に直交するとともに、前記ブラケット部(40)および前記第2パーキングパッド(34)の外側に軸方向に配置されることによって、前記第2パーキングパッド(34)および前記ブラケット部(40)の前記ハウジング(48)を軸方向に画定する車輪側の側壁(58)を含み、
前記収容壁(50)は、前記車輪側の側壁(58)から軸方向に延在する、請求項1に記載のディスク式制動装置。 - 前記装着構造体(22)は、前記一対の第1、第2パーキングパッド(32、34)と前記ブラケット部(40)の一部とを、前記ディスク(14)に平行な方向及び前記ディスクに対して軸方向の両方向に囲繞する、請求項1に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記装着構造体(22)は、前記一対の第1、第2パーキングパッド(32、34)と前記ブラケット部(40)の一部とを、前記ディスク(14)に平行な方向及び前記ディスクに対して軸方向の両方向に囲繞する、請求項2に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記サービスキャリパ(12)は固定キャリパであり、
前記装着構造体は、前記サービスパッド(18、20)と、前記サービスパッドを前記ディスク(14)に対して付勢するための手段とを収容するキャリパ本体を画定する、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のディスク式制動装置。 - 前記ハブ側の側壁(54)と前記車輪側の側壁(58)とは、前記ディスク(14)を跨いで前記サービスキャリパと前記浮動パーキングキャリパとの間に延在する別の連結壁(62)によって連結されている、請求項5に記載のディスク式制動装置。
- 前記ハブ側の側壁(54)、前記車輪側の側壁(58)、前記連結壁(60)、および設けられている場合には前記別の連結壁(62)は、前記浮動構造体(36)と前記浮動パーキングキャリパとの両方を囲繞し、加わる外力に対して耐性を有する小型の箱状構造体を画定する、請求項5又は14に記載のディスク式制動装置。
