Description
本発明は、所定の静止領域において加熱および/または冷却される回転ドラム表面上での連続走行におけるストリップ(strip)の形成のための装置に関する。使用分野は、主として、例えばフレネルレンズ(Fresnel lens)のように、その表層形態のおかげで特別な光学的性質を有するプラスチックの薄膜(フィルム:film)またはプラスチックの薄板(シート:sheet)の形成である。他の使用分野は、熱可塑性物質の関与の有無に拘わらない壁紙またはテキスタイル(textile)材料の立体的デザインである。形成されるべきストリップは、加熱領域においてドラム表面と密接に接触させられ、その結果、ストリップは相補的に後者の形態をとることになる。例えば、押出機ノズルからドラム表面上へ熱間のプラスチック(ホットプラスチック:hot plastic)の状態で供給されたプラスチックの押し出し物は、カレンダーローラ(calender roller)によってドラムに接触して押圧され、そこにある型の窪み(フォームデプレッション:form depression)を満たす。ストリップは、後続する冷却領域で凝固し、その結果、最終的にドラムから寸法的に安定した状態で取り出すことができる。

Claims (17)
- 加熱手段によって加熱されるべき領域(10)と冷却手段によって冷却されるべき領域(11)とを有する所定の静止領域(10、11)において加熱および/または冷却される回転する薄肉ドラム(1)を備え、この薄肉ドラムの表面上での連続走行においてストリップを形成可能なストリップ形成装置であって、
前記加熱手段は、前記薄肉ドラム(1)の内部から前記加熱されるべき領域(10)を加熱するものであり、
前記薄肉ドラム(1)は、2〜10mmの厚さを有し、前記所定の静止領域(10、11)において前記加熱手段によって加熱可能または前記冷却手段によって冷却可能な固定のキャリヤボディ(5)に取り付けられると共に、少なくとも前記所定の静止領域(10、11)において、前記キャリヤボディ(5)に対し熱交換可能に構成されて当該キャリヤボディの表面温度を呈し、
前記加熱されるべき領域(10)にホットプラスチックのプラスチック押し出し物(3)を供給するための装置(2)が設けられ、前記加熱されるべき領域には、前記冷却されるべき領域(11)が続いている、
ことを特徴とするストリップ形成装置。 - 前記薄肉ドラム(1)は、少なくとも加熱または冷却されるべき前記領域(10、11)において、前記キャリヤボディ(5)の表面上にスライド式に支持されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)の表面と前記薄肉ドラム(1)の間に液体を導入するための装置(62)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- 互いに面している前記キャリヤボディ(5)の表面と前記薄肉ドラム(1)の表面には、凹所がないことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れかに記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)の表面に、流体静力学的な力および流体動力学的な力の少なくとも何れか一方を利用して前記薄肉ドラム(1)を前記キャリヤボディ(5)に取り付けるための装置が備えられていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れかに記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)を加熱および/または冷却するために、伝熱液体の循環路が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5の何れかに記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)の前記加熱されるべき領域(10)に電気加熱装置が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5の何れかに記載の装置。
- 流体層もしくは静圧軸受の液体が伝熱液体によって形成され、前記循環路から送給されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の装置。
- 封止装置(60、61)又はスロットルの出っ張り(72)により、前記キャリヤボディ(5)の表面において、異なる静圧軸受圧力の領域が互いに区切られていることを特徴とする請求項3から請求項8の何れかに記載の装置。
- 液体の供給および/または排出(62、64)のために、異なる静圧軸受圧力の領域が別々のダクトに接続されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記薄肉ドラム(1)が、2つの端部の各々で保持リング(30)に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項10の何れかに記載の装置。
- 前記保持リング(30)が、前記薄肉ドラム(1)の内径および当接カラー(36)に適合する伸長表面(35)を有するとともに、円周にわたって分布し、ドラム端部に係合する複数のテンションフィンガー(38)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)が、2つのフランジ(14、15)間に保持される1つの中空シリンダによって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項12の何れかに記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)が、2つのフランジ(14、15)間に保持される複数の中空シリンダセグメント(16)によって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項12の何れかに記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)が、ジョイント(83、84)によって互いに結合される複数の中空シリンダセグメントによって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記ジョイントが前記フランジ(14、15)上にガイド又は保持されていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリヤボディ(5)は、その長手方向軸のまわりに角度調節可能であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項16の何れかに記載の装置。
