Description
以下、本発明の一実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。図1は、ボールジョイントを示す図である。図2は、ボールジョイントが揺動した場合示す図である。図3は、軸支部材の一部を示す斜視図である。図4は、サポートバーを示す図3におけるX−X断面図である。図5は、軸支部材の第1の変形例を示す斜視図である。図6は、軸支部材の第2の変形例を示す斜視図である。図7は、軸支部材の第3の変形例を示す斜視図である。図8は、サポートバーの変形例を示す断面図である。図8(a)は、サポートバーの第1の変形例を示す断面図である。図8(b)は、サポートバーの第2の変形例を示す断面図である。
次に、実施形態にかかるボールジョイント10の製造方法について図面を参照して説明する。図9は、ボールジョイントの製造方法を示すフローチャートである。
Claims (3)
- 柱状のスタッド部と、側面が球状でかつ中心を前記スタッド部の軸線上に位置させるボール部とを有するボールスタッドと、
前記ボール部と相対回転自在にかつ揺動自在に嵌合する球面状の凹部を有する樹脂製のボールシートと、
前記ボールシートを収容する樹脂製のハウジングと、
前記ハウジングと一体成形される樹脂製のサポートバーとを備え、
前記サポートバーは、その軸線に沿う中央部を構成するバー部を備え、
前記サポートバーは、前記サポートバーの軸方向に延設されるとともに前記バー部と一体成形される凸条を円周方向に複数有し、それら凸条は放射状に形成され、
前記凸条の幅は径方向外側に向かうに従って狭くなっていき、前記凸条同士の間が外部に開放されていることを特徴とするボールジョイント。 - 前記ハウジングは、底面側の外径に比べて、上端側の外径が大きくなるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のボールジョイント。
- 一端が前記スタッド部に接触し、他端が前記ハウジングの上端に接触するダストカバーと、
前記ハウジングの上端に、前記ボールスタッドが揺動するとき前記ダストカバーが接地する部分を平坦になるように形成される上端部と、
前記サポートバー側に前記上端部と平坦になるように形成される平坦部と
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のボールジョイント。
