Claims (6)
- 入力部材に連結されるクラッチアウタと、出力軸に相対回転不能に固定されるクラッチインナと、前記クラッチアウタに相対回転不能に係合される複数の第1摩擦板と、前記第1摩擦板と軸方向に交互に配置される複数の第2摩擦板と、前記クラッチインナとの間に前記第1摩擦板及び前記第2摩擦板を軸方向に挟持するプレッシャプレートと、軸方向において前記クラッチインナと前記プレッシャプレートとの間に設けられ、前記第2摩擦板が相対回転不能に係合されるクラッチセンタと、前記第1摩擦板及び前記第2摩擦板を軸方向において圧接方向又は離間方向に移動可能とするように設けられるカム機構と、を備え、
前記カム機構は、凸状カム及び凹状カムを有する一対のカム部材を備え、
前記一対のカム部材が前記クラッチインナと前記クラッチセンタとの間に設けられ、
前記凸状カムと前記凹状カムの接触面が曲面に形成され、
前記カム機構が、前記入力部材と前記出力軸のトルク変動に応じて前記第1摩擦板及び前記第2摩擦板を軸方向において圧接方向に移動可能にしてクラッチの結合力を増加するアシスト機構と、前記第1摩擦板及び前記第2摩擦板を軸方向において離間方向に移動可能にしてクラッチの結合力を低減するバックトルク低減機構と、を有する多板式クラッチ装置において、
前記クラッチインナ側に配置される前記カム部材を円環状に形成し、前記クラッチインナ側に配置される前記カム部材の外周面を径方向に延出させて、該カム部材の外周面の全面を前記クラッチセンタの内周面に形成される平坦面に当接させ、
前記アシスト機構作動時に作用する前記凸状カム及び前記凹状カムの前記接触面の曲率と、前記バックトルク低減機構作動時に作用する前記凸状カム及び前記凹状カムの前記接触面の曲率と、を異ならせることを特徴とする多板式クラッチ装置。 - 前記クラッチインナ側に配置される前記カム部材の前記凸状カム又は前記凹状カムが、前記出力軸の軸線と直交する平面上に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多板式クラッチ装置。
- 前記凹状カムの前記バックトルク低減機構作動時に作用するカムの径方向幅を、前記凹状カムの前記アシスト機構作動時に作用するカムの径方向幅よりも大きくすることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の多板式クラッチ装置。
- 前記凸状カムの径方向幅を、前記凸状カムの前記接触面の径方向幅よりも大きくすることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の多板式クラッチ装置。
- 前記凹状カムの前記バックトルク低減機構作動時に作用するカム側の底面に対して、前記凹状カムの前記アシスト機構作動時に作用するカム側の底面を深くすることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の多板式クラッチ装置。
- 前記クラッチセンタに外嵌されるジャダースプリングと、
前記ジャダースプリングの受け座となるスプリングシートと、を備え、
前記スプリングシートは、前記クラッチセンタの外周面にスプライン嵌合されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の多板式クラッチ装置。
