DR1+DR2=1
を満たすように、第1燃料分割比率DR1及び第2燃料分割比率DR2(<DR1)を決定する。
FP2=FP×DR2
DR1+DR2=1であり、FP1+FP2=FPであるので、他の燃料パルス幅FP0,FP3,FP4は0である。
DR3+DR4=1
を満たすように、第3燃料分割比率DR3及び第4燃料分割比率DR4(>DR3)を決定する。
FP4=FP×DR4
DR3+DR4=1であり、FP3+FP4=FPであるので、他の燃料パルス幅FP0,FP1,FP2は0である。第1ルーチンR1のステップS8で、燃料噴射弁53は、図7の最下段に示すように、排気弁22が閉じた後の所定タイミング(第3燃料パルス幅FP3の始端のタイミング)で該燃料噴射弁53のノズルが開きかつ第3燃料パルス幅FP3の終端のタイミングで該ノズルが閉じるように駆動されるとともに、吸気弁21が開いた後の所定タイミング(第4燃料パルス幅FP4の始端のタイミング)で上記ノズルが開きかつ第4燃料パルス幅FP4の終端のタイミングで該ノズルが閉じるように駆動される。尚、FP3が0になる場合があり、この場合には、排気弁22が閉じた後でかつ吸気弁21が開く前に燃料は噴射されない。ステップS35の後、ステップS33に進み、しかる後にリターンする。

Claims (10)
- 燃焼室へ燃料を直接噴射する燃料噴射弁を備えた火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法であって、
上記機関の要求トルクが所定トルク以下でありかつ上記機関の速度が所定速度以上であるときに、上記燃料噴射弁による燃料噴射を停止する工程と、
上記燃料噴射の停止中に上記機関の速度が上記所定速度又は上記所定速度よりも低い値に設定された燃料再開速度よりも低下したときには、気筒サイクルにおいて上記燃焼室の排気弁が閉じた後でかつ上記燃焼室の吸気弁が開く前のネガティブオーバーラップ期間の一部であって上記燃焼室内の圧力が上記排気弁が閉じたときの圧力よりも低い負圧期間に、上記燃焼室内へ第1量の燃料を直接噴射するとともに、上記吸気弁が開いている吸気期間に、上記燃焼室内へ上記第1量よりも少なく0を含む第2量の燃料を直接噴射することにより、上記燃料噴射を再開する工程と、
上記燃料噴射の停止中に上記機関の要求トルクが上記所定トルクを超えて上昇したときには、上記負圧期間に上記燃焼室内へ第3量の燃料を直接噴射するとともに、上記吸気期間に上記燃焼室内へ第4量の燃料を直接噴射することにより、上記燃料噴射を再開する工程と、を備え、
上記第3量は、上記第4量よりも少なく0を含むことを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法。 - 請求項1記載の火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法において、
上記燃料の揮発性が低いほど上記第1量を多くすることを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法。 - 請求項2記載の火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法において、
上記燃料のエタノールの含有量を決定して、該エタノール含有量が多いほど上記燃料の揮発性が低いとする工程を更に備えていることを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法において、
上記機関の温度が低いほど上記第1量を多くすることを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法において、
上記機関の要求トルクが大きいほど上記ネガティブオーバーラップ期間を短くする工程を更に備えていることを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法。 - 請求項5記載の火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法において、
上記機関の要求トルクが大きいほど気筒サイクルにおいて上記吸気弁が早く開く工程を更に備えていることを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関の制御方法。 - 火花点火式内燃機関と、
上記機関の燃焼室へ燃料を直接噴射する燃料噴射弁と、
上記燃料噴射弁を制御する制御器と、を備えた火花点火式内燃機関システムであって、
上記制御器は、
上記機関の要求トルクが所定トルク以下でありかつ上記機関の速度が所定速度以上であるときに、上記燃料噴射弁による燃料噴射を停止し、かつ、
上記燃料噴射の停止中に上記機関の速度が上記所定速度又は上記所定速度よりも低い値に設定された燃料再開速度よりも低下したときには、気筒サイクルにおいて上記燃焼室の排気弁が閉じた後でかつ上記燃焼室の吸気弁が開く前のネガティブオーバーラップ期間の一部であって上記燃焼室内の圧力が上記排気弁が閉じたときの圧力よりも低い負圧期間に、上記燃焼室内へ第1量の燃料を直接噴射するとともに、上記吸気弁が開いている吸気期間に、上記燃焼室内へ上記第1量よりも少なく0を含む第2量の燃料を直接噴射することにより、上記燃料噴射を再開し、かつ、
上記燃料噴射の停止中に上記機関の要求トルクが上記所定トルクを超えて上昇したときには、上記負圧期間に上記燃焼室内へ第3量の燃料を直接噴射するとともに、上記吸気期間に上記燃焼室内へ第4量の燃料を直接噴射することにより、上記燃料噴射を再開するように、上記燃料噴射弁を制御するものであり、
上記第3量は、上記第4量よりも少なく0を含むことを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関システム。 - 請求項7記載の火花点火式内燃機関システムにおいて、
上記制御器は、上記燃料の揮発性が低いほど上記第1量が多くなるように、上記燃料噴射弁を制御することを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関システム。 - 請求項7又は8記載の火花点火式内燃機関システムにおいて、
上記ネガティブオーバーラップ期間を変更する可変動弁機構を更に備え、
上記制御器は、上記ネガティブオーバーラップ期間が長くなるように上記可変動弁機構を制御することを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関システム。 - 請求項9記載の火花点火式内燃機関システムにおいて、
上記制御器は、上記機関の要求トルクが小さいほど気筒サイクルにおいて上記吸気弁が遅く開くように、上記可変動弁機構を制御することを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関システム。
