Description
(a)第四級アンモニウム陽イオン性化合物、

よりなる群から選択される剥離改質剤をも配置されるドナー要素を提供する。
(a)約30〜約99重量%のC1〜8アルコールの少なくとも1つの(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、
(b)約0.5〜約7重量%の少なくとも1つのエチレン系不飽和酸またはそのアミド、ならびに
(c)0〜約70重量%の、スチレン、メチルスチレン、アクリロニトリル、酢酸ビニル、および塩化ビニルよりなる群から選択され少なくとも1つのモノマー
の重合であって、特に、(i)少なくとも1つのアルキルフェノールエーテルスルフェートと(ii)そのカルボン酸部分が8〜24個の炭素原子を含有するα−スルホカルボン酸、そのC1〜4エステルの少なくとも1つとの乳化剤混合物、または前述のどちらかの塩の存在下に実施される重合によって製造されてもよい。典型的には、ポリマーの分子量は約10,000〜約1,000,000、特に40,000〜約500,000の範囲にある。
次の実施例は、順に通常の支持層、支持層上に通常通りにコートされる光−熱変換−剥離改質剤層、および転写層を有するドナー要素の実施形態および使用を提供する。剥離改質剤層は、光吸収剤として溶解された赤外線吸収染料を含む。
次の実施例は、ステンターオーブン中での横延伸およびその後のヒートセットの前に支持層前駆体上にコートされる剥離改質剤層を有するドナー要素の実施形態および使用を提供する。
次の比較例は、剥離改質剤原料サイアスタット−SPなしで調合した、実施例1に密に匹敵するドナー要素を提供する。

61. 前記転写部分が転写層の非転写体積を含み、前記光が650〜1200nmの波長でエネルギー出力最大を有するレーザーによって提供され、前記光−熱変換層が剥離改質剤を含み、前記転写層が顔料を含み、そして該剥離改質剤がリン原子を含むことを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
62. 画像形成露光中、前記光−熱変換層によって、前記光の40〜80%が伝えられることを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
63. 画像形成露光中、前記光−熱変換層によって、前記光の30〜70%が伝えられることを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
64. 前記剥離改質剤が、ニトロセルロースを含む層に配置されることを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
65. 前記剥離改質剤が、ポリメチルメタクリレートを含む層に配置されることを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
66. 前記剥離改質剤が、ポリアルキレンカーボネートを含む層に配置されることを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
67. 前記剥離改質剤が、スチレン−マレイン酸コポリマーを含む層に配置されることを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
68. 前記剥離改質剤が、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルピロリドン、多糖類、ポリ(エチレンオキシド)、ゼラチン、ポリヒドロキシエチルセルロースおよびそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択されるものを含む層に配置されることを特徴とする前記55.に記載の方法。
Claims (3)
- 支持層、
該支持層の一面に隣接して配置され、光吸収剤を含む光−熱変換層、および
該光−熱変換層に隣接し、該支持層の反対側に配置された転写層であって、
該光−熱変換層が光に選択的に露光されたときに、ドナー要素から隣接受像要素へ像様転写され得る材料を含む転写層、
を含む熱転写プロセスに使用するためのドナー要素であって、
該支持層と転写層との間に
(a)第四級アンモニウム陽イオン性化合物、
(b)ホスフェート陰イオン性化合物、
(c)ホスホネート陰イオン性化合物、
(d)1〜5個のエステル基および2〜10個の水酸基を含む化合物、
(e)(エチレン−、プロピレン−)アルコキシル化アミン化合物、ならびに
(f)それらの組み合わせ
よりなる群から選択される剥離改質剤をも配置されることを特徴とするドナー要素。 - 支持層を提供する工程と、
該支持層の一面を、光吸収剤を含む光−熱変換層で被覆する工程と、
該支持層の反対側の光−熱変換層を転写層で被覆する工程であって、該光−熱変換層が光に選択的に露光されたときに該支持層から隣接受像要素へ像様転写され得る材料を、該転写層が含むものである工程と
を含む熱転写プロセスに使用するためのドナー要素の製造方法であって、
該支持層と転写層との間に
(a)第四級アンモニウム陽イオン性化合物、
(b)ホスフェート陰イオン性化合物、
(c)ホスホネート陰イオン性化合物、
(d)1〜5個のエステル基および2〜10個の水酸基を含む化合物、
(e)(エチレン−、プロピレン−)アルコキシル化アミン化合物、ならびに
(f)それらの組み合わせ
よりなる群から選択される剥離改質剤を配置する工程をも含むことを特徴とする方法。 - a.支持層、
b.該支持層の一面に隣接して配置され、光吸収剤を含む光−熱変換層、および
c.該光−熱変換層に隣接し、該支持層の反対側に配置された転写層であって、該光−熱変換層と受像要素との間に配置された転写層
を含むドナー要素と受像要素との集合体を提供する工程と、
該集合体を光に像様露光させ、それによって像様露光された転写層の少なくとも一部が受像要素に転写されて画像を形成する工程と、
該ドナー要素を受像要素から分離し、それによって受像要素上に該画像を現出させる工程と
を含む画像形成のための熱転写プロセスにドナー要素を使用する方法であって、
該ドナー要素の支持層と転写層との間に
(a)第四級アンモニウム陽イオン性化合物、
(b)ホスフェート陰イオン性化合物、
(c)ホスホネート陰イオン性化合物、
(d)1〜5個のエステル基および2〜10個の水酸基を含む化合物、
(e)(エチレン−、プロピレン−)アルコキシル化アミン化合物、ならびに
(f)それらの組み合わせ
よりなる群から選択される剥離改質剤もまた配置されることを特徴とする方法。
