Claims (3)
- セラミック材料による固体電解質体によって直方体状に形成され、被測定ガスのうち、特定のガス成分の濃度を検出するセンサ素子を有するガスセンサの製造方法において、
前記固体電解質体の1つの稜部が挿通される貫通孔が形成されたガイド板の一主面と、前記固体電解質体の1つの面を対向させる第1ステップと、
前記固体電解質体を一方向に傾斜させると共に、その状態で前記ガイド板の他主面に向けて移動して、前記固体電解質体の1つの稜部を前記ガイド板の貫通孔から突出させる第2ステップと、
前記ガイド板の他主面に沿ってカッタを摺動させることによって、前記1つの稜部を面取りする第3ステップとを有することを特徴とするガスセンサの製造方法。 - 請求項1記載のガスセンサの製造方法において、
さらに、前記固体電解質体を逆方向に傾斜させると共に、その状態で前記ガイド板の他主面に向けて移動して、前記固体電解質体の他の1つの稜部を前記ガイド板の貫通孔から突出させる第4ステップと、
前記ガイド板の他主面に沿ってカッタを摺動させることによって、前記他の1つの稜部を面取りする第5ステップとを有することを特徴とするガスセンサの製造方法。 - 請求項2記載のガスセンサの製造方法において、
さらに、前記ガイド板の一主面と、前記固体電解質体の前記1つの面と反対の面を対向させた後、前記第2ステップ〜第5ステップを繰り返して、前記固体電解質体の4つの稜部を面取り加工することを特徴とするガスセンサの製造方法。
