Description
炭化珪素85質量%に珪素15質量%を配合した主原料に、助剤(分散剤及びバインダー)と水を配合し、それぞれの原料調合を行った。得られた原料を、トロンメル内に投入・混合し、上記トロンメル混合で得られた泥漿を、石膏型内に注入し、泥漿内の水分を石膏型に吸収させて、所定厚さ(6〜8mm)を着肉させることにより、それぞれの成形体を得た。
炭化珪素85質量%に珪素15質量%を配合した主原料に、助剤(バインダー)と水を配合し、混練機で混練した。得られた材料を、所定厚さ(6〜8mm)にプレス成形した。
表1及び表2に示すように、実施例1〜5および参考例1,2においては、骨材結合部に含有するSi3N4及び/又はSi2N2O量(質量%)を5〜25質量%含有するとともに、骨材結合部に存在する無機酸化物の内、Al2O3が0.1〜1.9質量%、且つSiO2が0.5〜6.7質量%に調節されているとともに、無機酸化物の元素成分の含有量が、Al源として0.06〜1質量%、Fe源として0.3〜0.5質量%、Ca源として0.003〜0.01質量%、Ni源として0.004〜0.01質量%、Zr源として0.0008〜0.01質量%、O源として0.5〜3質量%を満たすため、比較例1〜9と比較して、非酸化性雰囲気中で実使用した場合におけるそれぞれの窯道具の曲げ強さの減少率が遙かに少なかった、即ち、酸素濃度が1000ppm以下の非酸化性雰囲気であっても強度の著しい劣化や破損を防止することができるとともに、実使用できる寿命を大幅に向上させることができることを確認した。
Claims (3)
- 主成分としてSiCを含有する骨材部とSi3N4及び/又はSi2N2Oを5〜25質量%含有する骨材結合部とを含む耐火物として構成され、
前記耐火物は、酸窒化珪素と酸化珪素以外の残余の無機酸化物とを0.12〜0.980質量%含有し、酸素濃度500ppmの非酸化性雰囲気下における曲げ強さ減少率が8.2%以下であるとともに、
前記耐火物中に存在する無機酸化物には、Al 2 O 3 を0.100〜0.166質量%、且つSiO 2 を0.5〜6.7質量%含む非酸化性雰囲気用窯道具。 - 前記無機酸化物が、前記骨材結合部の大部分に存在する請求項1に記載の非酸化性雰囲気用窯道具。
- 開気孔率が、5〜14%である請求項1または2に記載の非酸化性雰囲気用窯道具。
