Description
セミサブ型石油掘削リグの浮体構造は、水面下に排水量を持たせたロワーハル1と、水面上に機械室・居住区・掘削装置等の上部設備を有するアッパーハル2と、ロワーハル1とアッパーハル2との間を結合する断面積の小さいコラム3と、これらを立体的に結合するブレース4とから構成されている。図6(A)には、セミサブ型石油掘削リグの主な外観構成物として、海底5を掘削するカッター付ドリルパイプを吊るすデリック6と泥水循環を行うライザー管7を図示してある。
(1)図4(A)に示すように、補助浮力体11を工場で予め製造しておく。具体的には、浮力体12を製造した後、主連結部材13及び副連結部材14を溶接する。その際、事前に改造対象の浮体式構造物41の寸法や増やしたい貨物積載重量の情報を入手しておき、その情報に基づいて浮力体12及び連結部材13,14の寸法や配置を設計する。
(2)図4(B)に示すように、浮体式構造物41を収容するドック42に補助浮力体11を載置する。なお、43は当て木である。
(3)図4(C)に示すように、ドック42にバラストを注水して浮体式構造物41の喫水と同じ深さまでドック42を沈める。
(4)図4(D)に示すように、浮体式構造物41を曳航してドック42に収容する。この時、補助浮力体11の上に浮体式構造物41が載るように位置を調整しておく。
(5)図4(E)に示すように、ドック42のバラストを排水し、補助浮力体11の上に浮体式構造物41を載置させた状態で水面上に露出させる。
(6)図4(E)に示した状態で、浮体式構造物41に補助浮力体11を接続する。まず、浮体式構造物41のロワーハル及び補助浮力体11の内部に溜まっている水を排水した後、浮体式構造物41のロワーハル底面に補助浮力体11の区画空間と連通する連通孔を適宜穿孔する。穿孔作業は補助浮力体11の内部に作業員が入り込んで行う。
(7)次に、補助浮力体11の浮力体の仕切板をロワーハルの底面に溶接する。この溶接作業も補助浮力体11の内部に作業員が入り込んで行う。続いて、ロワーハルの外壁と補助浮力体11の浮力体の外壁を溶接する。
(8)全ての作業(必要な荷物の移設作業や上部設備の設置作業等)が完了したら、ドック42にバラストを注水して、図4(F)に示すように、改造した浮体式構造物41を浮上させる。

Claims (6)
- 浮力体を形成する複数のロワーハルと、甲板を形成するアッパーハルと、前記ロワーハルと前記アッパーハルを結合する複数のコラムと、前記ロワーハル、前記アッパーハル及び前記コラムから構成される構造体に結合されるブレースと、を備えた浮体式構造物の補助浮力体であって、前記ロワーハルの下部に結合される浮力体と、該浮力体を結合する複数の連結部材と、を備え、前記ロワーハルと前記浮力体の内部空間を連通する連通孔を有する、ことを特徴とする浮体式構造物の補助浮力体。
- 前記浮力体は、前記ロワーハルと接続される側が開口した箱体と、該箱体の内部を複数の区画に区切る仕切板と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の浮体式構造物の補助浮力体。
- 前記箱体は、長手方向の端部にテーパ面を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の浮体式構造物の補助浮力体。
- 前記連結部材は、前記浮力体どうしを結合する主連結部材と、該主連結部材と前記浮力体から構成される構造体に結合される副連結部材と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の浮体式構造物の補助浮力体。
- 浮力体を形成する複数のロワーハルと、甲板を形成するアッパーハルと、前記ロワーハルと前記アッパーハルを結合する複数のコラムと、前記ロワーハル、前記アッパーハル及び前記コラムから構成される構造体に結合されるブレースと、を備えた浮体式構造物に対して、前記ロワーハルの下部に結合される浮力体と該浮力体を結合する複数の連結部材とからなる補助浮力体を予め製造しておき、該補助浮力体の上に前記浮体式構造物を載置し、前記ロワーハルと前記浮力体とを接続し、前記ロワーハルと前記浮力体の内部空間を連通させる連通孔を前記ロワーハルの底面に穿孔する、ことを特徴とする浮体式構造物の改造方法。
- 前記ロワーハルの上部に補助浮力体の浮力を補う追加補助浮力体を設ける、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の浮体式構造物の改造方法。
