Claims (3)
- 心不整脈の治療で使用する種類のカテーテル装置において、
主本体及び該主本体に接合された同軸のチップ区分を備えており、前記チップ区分はチップ先端を有し、中央軸線を中心として回転自在であり、前記チップ区分を前記主本体から遠ざかるように選択的に湾曲できるように偏向可能である、カテーテルシャフトと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に摺動自在に配置されており、アブレーション区分と非アブレーション区分とを有し、カテーテル先端部分を有するマッピング−アブレーションカテーテルであって、当該カテーテル先端部分は応力が予め加えられた湾曲部であり、当該カテーテル先端部分は当該マッピング−アブレーションカテーテルに左心房−肺静脈接合部の湾曲した内部壁と整合するループを形成させ、これによって、当該カテーテル先端部分を前記カテーテルシャフトから軸線方向に延ばすにつれて湾曲し、当該カテーテル先端部分を前記カテーテルシャフトから一杯に延ばしたとき当該湾曲部のすべてが前記チップ先端にて前記中央軸線に対して実質的に垂直な平面と実質的に同一平面である、マッピング−アブレーションカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルシャフト及び前記マッピング−アブレーションカテーテルの両方に連結されており、これによって、前記中央軸線に関し、前記チップ区分の選択的回転及び選択的偏向を制御し、前記カテーテルシャフトに関し、前記マッピング−アブレーションカテーテルの選択的軸線方向移動を制御する、制御機構と、を含むカテーテル装置。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテル装置において、
前記カテーテル先端部分が前記カテーテルシャフトから一杯に延ばされるとき、前記湾曲部はループを形成し、
前記ループは、選択的に変化できる直径を有し、
前記制御機構は、前記ループの前記直径を制御するカテーテル装置。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテル装置において、
前記チップ区分は、移行点にて前記主本体に接合され、
前記チップ区分は、前記移行点にて前記中央軸線に関して、前記主本体と実質的に同一平面上で、実質的に180度の湾曲部を形成するために応力が予め加えられ、
前記制御機構は、前記チップ区分のまっすぐにする選択的な動作を制御するカテーテル装置。
