前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)はビデオオブジェクト(VOB)を含み、前記ビデオオブジェクトはセル(Cell)から構成され、
前記ビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)はビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)を有し、
前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)には、前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)のアドレス及びその属性情報が記述され、
前記属性情報は、オーディオストリーム数の情報の領域とオーディオの属性情報の領域を有し、
前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)と前記ビデオマネージャー(VMG)を光ディスクに記録する情報記録方法であって、
前記オーディオストリーム数の情報と前記オーディオの属性情報を含む前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)を生成して記録し、
前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)を利用して再生される前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)を記録することを基本とする。
(3)ビデオタイトルセット(VTS)、メニュー用ビデオデータ及びメニュー用オーディオデータを含むメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)と(図21の95)、前記ビデオタイトルセット(VTS)及び前記メニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)を管理もしくは再生するためのビデオタイトルセット情報(VTSI)が定義され(図21の94)、
前記メニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)はビデオオブジェクト(VOB)を含み、前記ビデオオブジェクトはセル(Cell)から構成され、
前記ビデオタイトルセット情報(VTSI)はビデオタイトルセット情報管理テーブル(VTSI_MAT)を有し(図21の98)、
前記ビデオタイトルセット情報管理テーブル(VTSI_MAT)はメニュー用オーディオストリーム数の情報の領域と前記メニュー用オーディオの属性の領域を有し、
前記ビデオタイトルセット(VTS)、前記メニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)、及び前記ビデオタイトルセット情報(VTSI)を光ディスクに記録する情報記録方法であって、
前記メニュー用オーディオストリーム数の情報と前記メニュー用オーディオの属性の情報を含む前記ビデオタイトルセット情報(VTSI)を生成して記録し(図53)、前記ビデオタイトルセット情報(VTSI)を参照して再生される前記メニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)を記録する(図53)情報記録方法を提供している。また前記ビデオタイトルセット情報(VTSI)には、言語毎に設けられたメニューを再現するためのプログラムチェーンに関する情報(CTSM_PGCI_UT)が含まれている。また(4)上記(3)の情報記録方法で情報が記録された光ディスクを再生する再生方法又は再生部を有した情報再生装置を実現している。
Claims (2)
- 複数のビデオタイトルセット(VTS)全体の管理用としてビデオマネージャー(VMG)が定義され、ビデオマネージャー(VMG)内には、メニュー用としてのビデオデータ及びオーディオデータを含むビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)と、前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)を管理もしくは再生するためのビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)が定義され、
前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)はビデオオブジェクト(VOB)を含み、前記ビデオオブジェクトはセル(Cell)から構成され、
前記ビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)はビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)を有し、
前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)には、前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)のアドレス及びその属性情報が記述され、
前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)は、オーディオストリーム数の情報の領域とオーディオの属性情報の領域を有し、
前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)と前記ビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)を光ディスクに記録する情報記録方法であって、
前記オーディオストリーム数の情報と前記オーディオの属性情報を含む前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)を生成して記録し、
前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)を利用して再生される前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)を記録することを特徴とする情報記録方法。 - 複数のビデオタイトルセット(VTS)全体の管理用としてビデオマネージャー(VMG)が定義され、ビデオマネージャー(VMG)内には、メニュー用としてのビデオデータ及びオーディオデータを含むビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)と、前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)を管理もしくは再生するためのビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)が定義され、

前記ビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)はビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)を有し、
前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)には、前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)のアドレス及びその属性情報が記述され、
前記ビデオ管理情報管理テーブル(VMGI_MAT)は、オーディオストリーム数の情報の領域とオーディオの属性情報の領域を有する光ディスクから前記ビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)と前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)を再生する情報再生装置であって、
前記ビデオマネージャーメニュー用ビデオオブジェクトセット(VOBS)に含まれる前記オーディオデータを再生するに際しては、
前記ビデオマネージャー情報(VMGI)内から前記オーディオストリーム数の情報と前記オーディオの属性情報を取得する手段と、
前記オーディオストリーム数の情報に対応した複数のオーディオストリームの中から、再生対象とするオーディオストリームのユーザによる指定を受け付け、指定されたオーディオストリームに対応した前記オーディオの属性情報に基づきオーディオデコーダを設定する手段を具備することを特徴とする情報再生装置。
