<第1実施形態>
第1実施形態に係る液晶装置について、図1から図5を参照して説明する。
<第2実施形態>
第2実施形態に係る電気光学装置について、図6を参照して説明する。ここに図6は、第2実施形態における図3と同趣旨のブロック図である。尚、図6において、図3に示した第1実施形態に係る構成要素と同様の構成要素に同一の参照符合を付し、それらの説明は適宜省略する。
次に、上述した電気光学装置である液晶装置を各種の電子機器に適用する場合について説明する。
Claims (4)
- 基板上に、
複数の画素部と、
前記複数の画素部が配列された画素領域に第1方向に延在された複数の走査線と、
前記複数の走査線の両端にそれぞれ設けられ、前記複数の走査線に走査信号を供給する第1及び第2走査線駆動回路と、
前記基板の第1辺に沿って配列され、前記複数の走査線に対して前記走査信号を供給する順序を第1の順序とするように前記走査線駆動回路を制御するための正転方向制御信号を供給するための正転方向制御信号供給用外部回路接続端子を含む複数の外部回路接続端子と、
前記正転方向制御信号が入力され、第1バッファ回路を介して第1正転方向制御信号を生成すると共に、前記正転方向制御信号の電位を基準電位に対して反転させた第1反転方向制御信号を生成し、前記第1正転方向制御信号と前記第1反転方向制御信号とを前記第1走査線駆動回路に対して出力する第1反転方向制御信号生成回路と、
前記正転方向制御信号が入力され、第2バッファ回路を介して第2正転方向制御信号を生成すると共に、前記正転方向制御信号の電位を基準電位に対して反転させた第2反転方向制御信号を生成し、前記第2正転方向制御信号と前記第2反転方向制御信号とを前記第2走査線駆動回路に対して出力する第2反転方向制御信号生成回路と、
を備え、
前記第1走査線駆動回路と前記第1反転方向制御信号生成回路とは、前記第1辺に隣接する第2辺と前記画素領域との間の領域に配置され、
前記第2走査線駆動回路と前記第2反転方向制御信号生成回路とは、前記第2辺と対向する第3辺と前記画素領域との間の領域に配置され、
前記正転方向制御信号供給用外部回路接続端子から前記第1方向と交差する第2方向に引き回された後に分岐した配線によって前記第1及び第2反転方向制御信号生成回路にそれぞれ前記正転方向制御信号が入力される
ことを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 前記基板と対向配置される対向基板と、
前記基板及び前記対向基板を接着するシール材とを更に備え、
前記第1及び第2反転方向制御信号生成回路は、前記基板上で平面的に見て、前記画素領域と前記シール材が形成されるシール領域との間に形成される領域内に配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記画素領域の周囲を規定する額縁遮光膜を更に備え、
前記第1及び第2反転方向制御信号生成回路は、前記額縁遮光膜が形成された額縁領域内に配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電気光学装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置を具備してなる電子機器。
