Description
本発明(2)は、第1の線状体の浮部及び/又は沈部における、第2の線状体の第1の線状体との交差部表面に、カーボン系材料が設けられている、前記発明(1)の電子放出性織布である。
本発明(3)は、カーボン系材料は、カーボンナノチューブ、ダイヤモンドライクカーボン及びフラーレン類からなる群より選択される一種以上である、前記発明(2)の電子放出性織布である。
本発明(4)は、導電層は、導電性高分子からなる、前記発明(1)〜(3)のいずれか一つの電子放出性織布である。
本発明(5)は、導電性高分子中にフラーレン類が添加されている、前記発明(4)の電子放出性織布である。
本発明(6)は、第1の線状体及び第2の線状体の径が、1mm以下である、前記発明(1)〜(5)のいずれか一つの電子放出性織布である。
本発明(7)は、第2の線状体の径が、第1の線状体の径の1/2以下である、前記発明(6)の電子放出性織布である。

5 カーボン系材料
(1)第1の線状体の製造
まず、以下の手順で導電層を製造した。ポリピロール水溶液(5wt%水溶液;アルドリッチ社製;48,255−2)を準備し、ビーカーに入れたままその後真空乾燥して、フィルム状固体を得た。このフィルム状固体を数mmのサイズに切断し、溶融押出し機(井元製作所製)にて繊維形状にした。紡糸後の繊維の直径は約0.5mmであった。
(2)第2の線状体の製造
鉄線(0.2mm径)をリチウム内包C60フラーレン(「J.Phys.Chem.Solids Vol58,No.11,pp.1763−1769,1997;Production and LDMS Characterization of Endohedral Alkali−Fullerene Films;Author E.E.B.Campbellら」に記載の方法に基づき製造)のジメチルホルムアミド溶液(0.2重量%)に浸した後乾燥し、第2の線状体を得た。
(3)電子放出性織布の製造
夫々10本の線状体を手で平織りすることにより標記織布を得た。
製造例2
(1)第1の線状体の製造
まず、以下の手順で導電層を製造した。ポリピロール水溶液(5wt%水溶液;アルドリッチ社製;48,255−2)を準備し、更にリチウム内包C60フラーレンをポリピロールに対して10重量%の割合で添加し、ビーカーに入れたままその後真空乾燥して、フィルム状固体を得た。このフィルム状固体を数mmのサイズに切断し、溶融押出し機(井元製作所製)にて繊維形状にした。紡糸後の繊維の直径は約0.5mmであった。
(2)第2の線状体の製造
鉄線(0.2mm径)をリチウム内包C60フラーレンのジメチルホルムアミド溶液(0.2重量%)に浸した後乾燥し、第2の線状体を得た。
(3)電子放出性織布の製造
夫々10本の線状体を手で平織りすることにより標記織布を得た。
電子放出確認試験
製造例1及び2に係る電子放出性織布の電子放出性能を確認するために、図4に示すように真空チャンバ内に前記織布を配置した。V0=2000V、V1=100Vの直流電圧を印加することにより、蛍光体の発光を観測した。その結果、いずれも織布を用いた場合も、優れた発光を奏した。特に、製造例2が優れた電子放出能を有することが確認された。
Claims (8)
- 導電性層を絶縁層で被覆した第1の線状体と、導電性材料からなる第2の線状体とを交差させ、形成された交差部から電子放出を行わせるようにしたことを特徴とする電子放出性織布。
- 第1の線状体の浮部及び/又は沈部における、第2の線状体の第1の線状体との交差部表面に、カーボン系材料が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子放出性織布。
- カーボン系材料は、カーボンナノチューブ、ダイヤモンドライクカーボン及びフラーレン類からなる群より選択される一種以上であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電子放出性織布。
- 導電層は、導電性高分子からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の電子放出性織布。
- 導電性高分子中にフラーレン類が添加されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電子放出性織布。
- 第1の線状体及び第2の線状体の径が、1mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の電子放出性織布。
- 第2の線状体の径が、第1の線状体の径の1/2以下であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電子放出性織布。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項記載の電子放出性織布と、前記織布の電子放出方向に対向して設けられた発光部とを備えた表示装置。
