Description
すなわち、特許文献1は、VOCを含む汚れた空気を水で洗うことで浄化することを特徴とする。
さらに、請求項1に係る発明では、VOCがゲル状高分子物質に近づくと、先ず電気的に吸引する。
そして、ゲル状高分子物質はVOCを抱え込む。このようにして、汚れた空気からVOCを分離する。
すなわち、水の分子量を1とすれば、トルエンの分子量は5となり、トルエンの分子が大きいため水で抱え込むことはできない。
一方、トルエンの分子量を1とすれば、ゲル状高分子物質の分子量は20×10 4 となり、強大なゲル状高分子物質でトルエンなどを抱え込むことができる。
そこで、本発明は邪魔板を設け、この邪魔板にVOC及びゲル状高分子物質を含むミストを当てて、付着させ、液滴化させて水と共に回収するようにした。この結果、大気へ放出するVOCを大幅に減少させることができる。
図1は本発明に係る塗装設備の原理図であり、塗装設備10は、塗装対象物(例えば車体)11と塗装ガン12、13とをトンネル型のブース14で囲い、このブース14の上部からブース14内へ空気を吹き込み、この空気でブース14内に漂う残塗料を下降させ、この空気をブース14の底に設けた水洗装置30(詳細後述)で水洗し、水洗後の空気をブース14の下部から排出ダクト40に導き、フィルタ41を内蔵した消音器42を介して屋外へ放出する形式の設備であり、水洗後の空気へ、有機溶剤を吸着する性質を有する液状高分子物質(ゲル状高分子物質とも記す。)と水との混合液を噴霧する吸着剤噴霧ノズル51〜53を備え、排出ダクト40に邪魔板43〜47を備える。
塗装ガン12、13から最後の吸着剤噴霧ノズル53までの距離L3を空気が流れるのに必要な時間若しくはこの時間より少し長い時間を、一定時間T2と定める。
(a)に示すとおり、液状高分子物質57は、カルモア(KARMOR)社製マイクロゲル(microgel)が好適である。
この液状高分子物質57は、いわばアメーバ状の物質である。詳しくは、液状高分子物質57は、プラス、マイナス両方の極性が集合した総分子量数千万に達するゲルである。すなわち、分子量の点では、水の百万倍、トルエンの二十万倍である。
そして、(b)に示すとおりに、液状高分子物質57はVOC67、68を抱え込む。このようにして、汚れた空気からVOC67、68を分離する。
すなわち、水の分子量を1とすれば、トルエンの分子量は5となり、トルエンの分子が大きいため水で抱え込むことはできない。
一方、トルエンの分子量を1とすれば、液状高分子物質57の分子量は20×104となり、強大な液状高分子物質57でトルエンなどを抱え込むことができる。
Claims (4)
- 塗装対象物と塗装ガンとをブースで囲い、このブースの上部から前記ブース内へ空気を吹き込み、この空気で前記ブース内に漂う残塗料を下降させ、この空気を前記ブースの底に設けた水洗装置で水洗し、水洗後の空気を前記ブースの下部から排出ダクトに導いて屋外へ放出する形式の塗装設備において、
この塗装設備は、有機溶剤を吸着する性質を有しプラス、マイナス両方の極性が集合した総分子量数千万に達するゲル状高分子物質と、水との混合液を、前記水洗後の空気に噴霧する吸着剤噴霧ノズルを備えると共に、この吸着剤噴霧ノズルを噴霧状態にするか否かを制御する噴霧制御部を備えることを特徴とする塗装設備。 - 前記塗装ガンで発生した残塗料が空気に乗って前記吸着剤噴霧ノズルに到達するまでの時間を一定時間と呼ぶときに、
前記噴霧制御部は、前記塗装ガンが塗装を開始する塗装開始信号から一定の時間が経過したときに前記混合液の噴射を開始し、前記塗装ガンが塗装を終了する塗装終了信号から一定の時間が経過したときに前記混合液の噴射を停止する制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の塗装設備。 - 前記吸着剤噴霧ノズルは、空気の流れに沿って複数個設けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の塗装設備。
- 前記排出ダクトに、空気の流れを蛇行させるように邪魔板を設け、この邪魔板は空気に含むミストが付着し、液滴化し、流下するように、水平に対して20°〜70°の角度で傾斜させたことを特徴とする請求項1、請求項2又は請求項3記載の塗装設備。
